Don't really use that many texture mods but I found this one to be pretty good, gives the quarries of Fallout 4 a bit more detail, now also retextures the machinery and such found in these locations.

FFS, I've sold 20+ cores already (well, traded them for plasma and fusion cells really)... player.additem to the rescue then!

you know what would have been cool?
if workshop benches had their stored items synchronized.
unless there's something that does that already?

Set up supply lines between settlements. That allows them to share resources. You have to assign them to individual settlers in build mode (Q by default).

They said February at E3 as I recall.

The settlement aspect is really badly documented - the first few days I was pretty lost when it came to stuff like powering lights and how defenses worked and so on.

Switched to SMAA and the game is definitely easier in the eyes with much less blur.

Thanks and Updates for Fallout 4
Thank you! We can't say it enough- thank you for the amazing support you've given us. We're incredibly blessed to have so many incredible fans. You've made Fallout 4 not just our largest game launch ever, but one of the industry’s. It's beyond anything we hoped for.
Seeing and reading your stories has given our whole studio immense joy. It's amazing to see what you've done with the game, what you've discovered, and what you've built! We know there's even more to come; the game is full of hidden gems and ways it can be played.
For some, the freedom the game offers can be overwhelming. We know the game throws a lot on you at once, so take your time. There are many moments of “How does this work? What do I do to survive?” and that’s how your character should be feeling as well. Those that push through should be able to look back at who they were when they stepped out of the Vault and say, “I made it. I understand this world now and it’s mine.”
It's true that the freedom our games offer you can lead to unintentional consequences that are sometimes bad, when the game combines too many unexpected elements at once. Given the scale and complexity of the systems at work, especially when allowing you to build your own settlements, we're happy that Fallout 4 is our most robust and solid release ever, and we'd like to thank our amazing QA staff who worked as hard as anyone to break the game so we could fix it during development. But a hundred testers will never replicate the many millions playing the game now, and we're hard at work addressing the top issues.
Our process for updating the game will include releasing a beta patch on Steam, followed by full release on PC, then release on the consoles. This process has worked well for us in the past and allows us to get more fixes out faster. Expect to see more updates, that are smaller and more frequent, than a few big ones. This allows us to make sure each fix is working right, as any change can have unintentional side effects in a game this huge. We expect the first beta patch to be up next week.
If you have feedback or issues to let us know about, contact our support staff here.
Thanks again for everything. We look forward to our continued journeys together.

Try disabling "Wetness" in the launcher. |
Thanks, I'll give that a try. |
Unfortunately, the wetness setting wasn't the culprit.
Is no-one else experiencing this graphics bug? I haven't seen any other artifacts or glitches whatsoever, but when it's raining, the screen goes white. Often in one direction only, so when I turn around, there are ceratin parts that are completely okay, while others all are white.

No, sorry. I've had "game" bugs but, other than a ridiculous amount of z-fighting, no actual graphics bugs. |
Yeah, well, it's bearable.
Once again, here's what I'm talking about:

Go to a Power Armour crafting mount and you should see them still attached to the PA, just not "equipped" because they're broken. Repair and they should be able to be equipped again

If I understand the technique properly Z-Fighting / Clipping could have been almost entirely eliminated if they had updated to a logarithmic depth buffer used in recent games with very large open worlds such as for example Mad Max, GTA 5, Dying Light and I think CryEngine and UE4 uses it by default now whereas say Batman: Arkham Knight still on UE3 uses the older method.
EDIT: Speaking of how happy the settlers are how is that calculated? I can add two large water purifiers, a dozen or so mutfruit plants and generators powering four missile turrets each but it still remains around 30 - 40
(With beds placed either indoors or outdoors, doesn't seem to affect anything.)

@IamAWESOME
I had it once, i just put all the stuff back in the workbench and replaced them, no issues since.
@JBeckman
To get your happiness all the way up you need, food + water production = defence number, shops and a couple of paintings and such.
You really dont need 2 water purifiers since there is a max of 20 people anyway.
Empty again
