If not, i doubt you will get that many full servers at release and game probably will die out soon after that.

It's made by the Project Reality developers, and that mod has been alive for years. It will probably only be played by a small number of dedicated people.

The best thing about this is that it's free of that inherently horribly arcadish BF2 engine.

We are working our asses of every single day to do as much of a bang on the EA date as possible.

To describe the game in my opinion (honestly, no promotional cr@p) its a smaller scale arma that plays more like a typical shooter with huge incentive on teamplay, squad spawns, integrated voice system, and ofcourse fluid normal controls, not as clunky as arma. If you loved PR then this is PR2.0 with a bit more features (which sadly not all of them will make it into first release).

We have quite a big following already, many people interested, bunch of clans/testers and backers. Also we have a greenlight record behind our backs.

Theres plenty of footage on the web, even had a chance to talk to JackFrags in person (quite a fan of his stuff) and he made a simple prealpha impressions video for us so you can look it up, just remember most things change daily some videos might be out of date.

All in all SOON(tm)

Sofar the focus is to make a playable game since were starting from scratch. Sadly I do not have the permission to disclose, but expect it growing quite allot for Early access Wink I'm jumping on random squad streams on twitch tonight so if you guys wanna chat come join us and take a look.

Nice video OP but EA has a bad reputation with me. So I'll wait for final release and review around.

Looks exactly like Arma to me, what am I missing? Is it a round-based game that you can win? Can you respawn?

for starters, you don't need to be an octopus to learn the basic controls of the game

Got a press key today. Razz For me it works good on the highest details (i5 4670k@4.3, R9 390x, 8gb). The graphics are a little blurry in the distance but I presume that's intended.

I've played a lot of ARMA 3 and for me this game feels so much different. It's a lot of blind shooting and dying from who knows what.

Looking forward to this one.

BTW, does anyone remember the other upcoming tactical shooter? It's another indie title, I think.

Not Rising Storm 2, which I'm also looking forward to.

I just hope they got rid of BF2 arcade'ish shit with this one. Would be the perfect blend of ArmA semi-realism and PR's fantastic gamemodes.

Anyone knows what they're gonna charge for this one tomorrow?

The only one that I can remember at the moment is: http://www.groundbranch.com/videos/
(Promising as well, but who knows if it'll ever see the light..let's hope it's not another Takedown! )

Haha yes, we need free keys because multiplayer games can't be pirated. I mean, it's only fair!

I expert a huge onslaught of COD kiddies on launch so do not expect to always get access to proper teamwork, altho Dev's are organizing leading groups (to teach and ease in newcommets) for launch. We will just need to wait for a proper filtering of community until it gets as tactical as PR was. Closed test with previous PR players showed all squads playing properly just as intended, constant voip and stuff. I might be completely wrong on this tho, just guessing. Anyways happy day today lads!

And yea regarding piracy sadly its gonna be hard, we have an account system for online Very Happy

slightly edited Razz
