Do you have a nforce 3 mobo?

People are saying starforce just doesn't work on that system(so you don't need to disconnect anything).

Damn it!

I Can't get this to work.

I only have a SATA DVD drive. Do I have to unplug ig?

I mounted the image with DT4 and the game launches, I get to see the ubisoft log, the game title, but then when it says "loading" windows crashes. Blue screen with a .dll causing a problem (goes to fast for me to read), then it just restarts.

Any ideas?

bleh, disabling the drives using any of the fuck starforce apps doesnt work well for me.
the games do work after disabling the drives but the prob is gettin em back in as they were.
its hard enough gettin back all drives and cardreaders in, gettin em back with the old drive letters is almost an impossible thing.
i just dont really feel like adapting to new drive letters every time i play a starforced game, just tough luck here.

You can easily assign any device a permanent drive letter in administration tools in the control panel. I constatly connect and disconnect devices but they will always use the same letter.

I got a problem not related to copy protection. Whenever I start the game my computer is just doing a reboot. The readme says:
"NVIDIA driver version 81.85 is known to cause blue screens and reboot the
computer. If you experience this problem you should revert back to 78.01."
I tried that but im still getting reboots. Anyone got an idea how to solve the problem?

What have they done to us these ubis...
I've been playing cracked games since forever, never have I experienced so much trouble for a game - It seems that actually buying a game these days is not fantasty anymore. and everything starts and ends in one word - Starforce.
I doubt the devs of SF looking at Nforce, but if they are, man are they happy fellows.

Someone said this game would be in stores since the 1st but I cannot find it anywhere.
I am looking for the special edition since it comes with the other 2 games as well.
This is my favorite game and would love to have all 3.
Anyway, I donwloaded the clone hoping to play a little but the game kills my PC. It just restarts when loading.

I have exactly the same problem, game rebooting my PC when launched. What Hardware do you have if I may ask? Maybe the Problem lies there.
I got:
A8N Sli (Nforce4)
Athlon64 4000+
1Gb Corsair XMS Memory
XFX 7800 GTX
2x Samsung 250GB HDD Raid0

All latest drivers and Bios but i tried older Forceware wich did not help.

Dude how are you running the game at that res 1280*960? The game only gives me the option of 1024x768 res. All Prince of Persia Games only gave me that option.

Im using eVGA6800Ultra with the latest official nvidia drivers. Is there a setting on the registry that will allow me to play the game at a higher res like what you're playing on?

Just go into Graphics - Basic and it's adjustable by the first slider bar at top of option screen. Yummm 1600x1200 Smile
