Yes Janz and I'm feeling it on my skin now.!

Gonna update to 8.1 when i have more time. Weird is that I get the pop-up notification, but when i click on it, it says that it's not available for me ( win 8 pro ).

I run a yarr version of windows, which was activated using kms, will 10 be activated after upgrade? Besides, i don't trust 10 as of yet.

Ran derpcreed, 3500 memory out of 8000 Fuck Yeah 1080, very high settings, runs smooth in London, suits my needs.

update does work as well, maybe you need to use a newer ms toolkit version afterwards but no problem. but you cant go from 8 to 10, you need 8.1. and alone the time 8 -> 8.1 needs (and it has to be done via the store) and maybe going to 10 after wards -> just clean install 10

On GPU yes on VRM not that much. Most of them suck because of crappy radial fan and no proper cooler on VRM which gets hotter than GPU itself.

but thats not a hybrid system Wink i think they are useless in case you have decent airflow (which you need even with watercooling)

Just installed the MSI 970.
Had to reposition my 3,5" drives so it can fit in, and then destroy some of my cases crappy plastic holders so i could screw the GPU.

Well, ran the Heaven Benchmark while steadily overclocking. When i reached Core ~1500 and Memory ~7900 the benchmark froze for a few seconds and then continued. I saw no pixel errors and temperature was still pretty fine.
But now the GPU suddenly runs at much lower frequencies and won't get higher. Surprised (Core ~540, Memory ~6000).

WTF? Very Happy

(Reference) Pascal should be something very similar to Fury X thanks to HBM chips. Custom cards of course can be quite the same as the current ones. Time will tell... Smile

i'll send you my bios if you want to test it. voltage and core fluctuations from nvidia boost 2.0 aren't that good for OCing.
