Well every 1st of december in gävle in sweden they put up a christmasgoat (called something like that in english i think?). Well that is one tradition, the other tradition about this is that every year it burns down atleast once some year their have been failure. This year it took 2 days, think its almost a record. The burning down-tradition is an unofficial tradition Different people every year (well, mostly). Think it was last year an american turist was here, he thought it was legal so he burned it down and then got arrested

in holland we have also a very nice tradition. you have to smoke 100gram weed than try to fuck at least 10 hookers. you do that with 100 people... the winner is the guy that fucked the 10 hookers the fastest..

It was a santa and a pepparkaksgubbe (dunno what it is on english, someone who can translate it?) who light it up this year.

pepparkaksgubbe=gingerbreadman I think it was in 2001 the American got caught. He claimed he had no idea it was illegal and he just thought it was tradition

Actually when i first read about burning down (christmas)goats ... i really thought WTF !??! ... burning animals ... and taking 2 days to burn down ?!? even more WTF ?!?! That would be kind of cruel ... and swedes doing this .. never thought bad of swedes before ... maybe some very nature-connected tribes .. but not swedes ... LOL thanks for the links Maknou ... clearing things up seriously.
