There is rumor 3DM working on it as they do working on chinish locolazation.

Denuvo is still "weaker" protection then starforce 3.0 was perior Reloaded fully reverse engineering it,IMO,as non of it's games took as much as cracking Cheos Theory.

I hope it will get revresed in time,so Denuvo will get faster to crack,as it was with Starforce.

Didn't 3DM say they're NOT gonna crack it ever?

Both 'statements' from 3DM are unconfirmed, so it's hard to tell whatever they really going to crack or not, only time will tell.. that is why I listed both as Rumors... though on 3DM site there is seems to be a lot talk about the game.

Admittedly,I'd rather to have CPY or reloaded providing the crack, even for earlier Denuvo games.

But is has to be cracked in a couple a days. not months. I can't wait so long if it are good games.

Liberated the first island chain, way more to do there still with stuff like the little activities ("gears" so you can unlock skills/mods.) and various hidden easter-eggs and collectibles but at least all red explosive objects are now gone...

...including useful stuff such as power generators, water towers, satellite communication in various forms and most police stations are in ruin. Very Happy

I think i've figured out why this game doesn't run as good as it should on nvidia cards at least. For whatever reason the nvidia drivers are forcing a P2 power state for this game which causes the memory clock on 970/980 to lower to 6ghz vs. the 7ghz stock or whatever you may have set for P0 state clock. This is resulting in a hefty performance loss as overclocking from 7 ghz to 8ghz normally yields 10-15% in a lot of games alone. So it seems nvidia users are loosing a good 10% (from stock) due to this issue.

The strange part is that nvidia drivers usually force this P2 state for CUDA work, but this game doesn't have any gameworks functionality that I know of.

Yeah I saw that in the NeoGaf performance thread for this game just now with multiple posts on how people with the 900 series of NV GPU's might experience some issues with this game where it downclocks with the 359.06 and 359.12 drivers.
(Nvidia is also aware of it so once they can replicate it a hotfix driver is probably not too far off.)

I just tried downgrading to 358 branch and same thing. Hope they get a fix out soon because I think this is a big reason why the game is running so shitty on nvidia cards at least. If you overclock you could potentially be loosing 15-20% because of this.

Suddenly running like crap in 3rd part (Insula Striate region) of the game. Sad Massive stuttering and frame-rate not crossing 40.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Funny, cause for me its exactly the opposite. I havent changed anything in the settings and the further i progressed the more stable it becomes. No more stutter for me, even after playing 2 hours+.

Before i coudnt play more than 30-60 mins without restart.

This Game is weird performancewise.

Very weird indeed, I played like 15 hours without any problems and now I keep getting random crashes.

Maybe it's better to wait for a patch...OR just soldier on. :/

No crashes so far other than what I had at the start of the game but I did have to drop downsampling due to the high VRAM usage, this third (and much larger.) island is also more demanding than the other two (Fourth "volcanic" like island or what to call it isn't too bad though in terms of framerate but it's also not as detailed despite it's large size.) so yeah I can understand the game perhaps becoming a bit unstable later on as there's more going on in the game when you reach the main landmass.
(Especially if you are close to running out of available RAM or VRAM.)

Much more forest type terrain and larger towns and installations too further increasing GPU and CPU load. (And RAM but that's been said enough time by now, hopefully they'll get a patch out within the next week or two fixing the worst of it.)

EDIT: Oh and the story is a bit all over the place, thought I was just getting to the main part as I arrived at the third island and did a few more missions there but then I checked the statistics screen and saw I only had two missions left. Very Happy
("Make Dictator dead and explode his shit." isn't much to go on in terms of story though but some of the missions were fun ha ha.)

Is this game worth buying? It seems like fun, but could also get quite repetitive after a while. I didn't like FarCry 4, I found little enjoyment in hunting down all treasures and doing all minigames, I have kind of outgrown it I guess. Then again, I did like Mad Max.
