just tested at 1920x1200, which is more demanding than 1080p, and i had drops to 50ish fps in extreme rocket explosion situations. we are talking 4-5 rocket launchers firing at the same time in a tiny space. other than that 60 fps.
I think the game is fun. no idea why people are uninstalling after 5 mins. it's not quake 3 obviously, but map control, leading shots, and all the good stuff from it is still there. it's just a bit slower and it has some modern gaming elements, like markers on the HUD pointing to the demon powerup, icons showing team mate positions and deaths, and such stuff.
it's still decently fast paced and skill based.

the game constantly shows your steam account id in random places on the screen and there's a ton of NDA warnings and contracts to agree to at start

dunno, what setup?
runs now with the older nv drivers, surspringsly steady 60fps with my ancient 770. BUT major gfx errors, extrem white flickering always and sometimes black stuff as well.... meh unplayable without getting a headache. any solution for that?

tbh it feels a lot like doom, nobody here wants quake in doom so stfu and dont even mention quake ever again here! laughing my ass of when people claim or even just try compare this feels just like quake 3...i just hope the loadout crap is just optional and in normal deathmatch and tdm you have all weapons with pick up etc as usual. they may need to increase the movement speed a bit, maybe ~10%
