I've been through many, very many arguments in life. And very many rough negotiations. I'm a failry successful man, I would be NOWHERE today, if I didn't fight for it. This whole safe space shit is breeding fucking losers, who will drown once they leave university. These guys don't stand a chance in real life. People will walk all over them.
This is what they don't get: you have no right not to be offended. Nobody gives a shit, what minuscule thing you chose to get offended about. What your boss cares about is you finishing your work on time, otherwise there are thousands waiting in line to take your job.
I've had a few self-important SJW types apply to my company. I hired none of them, because they suck at competing (and I need a winning team, not a fucking whining one). Also another thing I don't give a fuck about is diversity quotas. I have three things I want in employees: I want them to be good at their jobs (or talented and willing to learn), I want them to be motivated and team players, I want them to fit in. I don't care about their ethnic background, gender or religion, whatevs, man, NOBODY cares about that. Are you a good fit for the job - that is all I care about, and that is all your boss will care about.

Same. I've been on quite a few interview panels for the organisation I work for. Always amazes me some of the people that get short listed by our HR department for interview purely based on the organisation trying to meet quotas.
