1-9 had so much charm and character, and they lost it all from 10 onwards.

With 10, the franchise started to take itself too seriously.

A shame, that they didn't bother to upgrade the scene backgrounds.

For this game I believe they actually even have the source data still so it should be possible theoretically although that they even updated the character models and cutscenes is a bit surprising to me as I almost expected a quick port similar to FF7 and 8 on Steam. Smile
(Funny how many development studios seem to lose stuff like that, especially for content in the 90's and early 2000's though it unfortunately also makes remakes more difficult without the original source assets or sometimes even the code itself being lost.)

Well they are Japanese, so they probably had no idea what version control is. So while most people were probably on CVS or whatever devs used way back, these guys just rambo'd through it all.



Also where does it say Jan 2016? All I'm seeing is Early 2016 and no price. :/
