Go to the folder where it's installing and you should see these 0kb rar archives and ~3 GB or so .tmp archives, what it's doing is that it's unpacking the compressed data so once you start seeing the rar archives fill up with actual file sizes it's slowly getting that done but it takes a while due to the heavy compression, 15 minutes or so.
(And after that's done it's going to unpack the new .rar archives for the actual game data and the counter should start updating again.)

Give the malware some time to install the rootkit, thanks.

From a good source yeah, the 15 GB full / normal release would be easier to both download and just extract and it's done but in this case or at least when I looked for a download there was only a slow torrent with barely any seeders so no speed at all or "WBB" HTTP links where you're throttled unless you have a subscription (And most links are generating money - minor amounts though. - for the uploader so you usually have pretty horrible and slow hosts.) however this 5 GB repack was on Cs.rin via some persons Google account so it downloaded in minutes instead of days so the extra 30 minutes that the unpacking took wasn't a huge deal for me personally.
EDIT: Oh and yeah once again, be really careful with unknown repacks from less trustworthy sources, very easy to get exposed to malware and the like if you're not careful.
(Also for those using HTTP downloads via say Warez-BB check two - three times or so on the download page before clicking the "DOWNLOAD!" button, many sites use one or two fake redirects to advertisement or worse - installers for example, never run those. - and then the actual download button might be hidden or just very small.)
EDIT: Fucking annoying really with the amount of adware and other crap these days, surely I'm nowhere near the only one who've had to clean out various bits of junk from other family members PC's and the like.
(It's thankfully pretty easy though some of that stuff can be a bit trickier to completely remove.)
EDIT: Well, second only to the amount of spam mails sent these days I suppose, some 90% or so of all the mail I receive is stuff like that now.
(Thankfully multiple email account sources like Gmail and Hotmail/Outlook/MSN so most of it can be redirected.)
(At least you see the current trends I suppose, gone are the Nigerian princes and the like and now it's cheap - and usually either fake or sometimes even dangerous. - medicinal stuff and the occasional "message alert" service trying to fool people.)
(And of course "Blizzard" keeps mailing me and telling me I'll get banned and need to stop selling gold in WoW but I'm not going to as I don't even have an account for that game. )

Plays great on my oldish system but I can't for the life of me figure if I want to stick with magic or go a warrior. Leaning towards magic but then you miss out on all the cool climbing on monsters stuff. Why must both look so fun?

Pff kids these days. Back in my time I had to install Ultima 6 from floppy disks to more floppy disks, but one of the source disks had a read error and the lengthy process had to be restarted from scratch ever time it failed. And I loved every fucking minute of it.

If you refer to my post, i was talking about the times we live in (i'm not that young). I used to transfer games splitted archived in floppy disk sizes from a friend of mine, using 2-3 floppies ... until one of them got bads.

Seyter repack took me 50 minutes to install in external HDD and download was just 15 minutes. That means it's just the same amount of time for me if it was a 19gb download with full speed links.

I have slowdowns only during some cutscenes, on a R9 390. Goes to 40ties, but as soon as the game resumes in the same location, solid 60.

Exactly.
Not mentioning the time we usually spent in tuning the C64 tape recorder for loading a game.

Is the story in this game worthwhile? I played a bit after char creation and it seemed kind of generic.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

I don't quite remember the story being great but I remember that combat was fun and very well done.

Without downsampling there still is a fps drop, though only to ~52 fps. |
It's because you play using a controller.

It's just background noise really. This game has good combat and the flexibility of your character is great. If you go in expecting a good game, it'll be a blast. Don't expect any game changers.

It was the best of times.
Nowadays I can't even hear if the PC is loading stuff because it's in one of those damn silent cases.
