Wow, that looks pretty sweet. Seems like the environments are a bit more diverse than that Transformers one. I didn't play that because I had the impression it was basically a fairly simplistic arena brawler. Hopefully this is something more akin to the old arcade games where you go through a whole bunch of different areas. Also is Bebop like 12ft tall there?
Fuck yea, platinum games is the king of the genre by far, well it's no wonder as their main people did invent it in the first place with devil may cry.
Knda looks like a bit like the original comic style rather than the cartoon (at least the 90s cartoon, never seen the new one).
I don't know if it's nostalgia, but the cartoon style is my favorite one, by far (same for the movies).
The turtles were so laid back and relaxed, and look at them now, all angry, dark and visceral. Where is the humanity, they even lost the pupils!
All jokes aside, I'm happy that Platinum is giving all these franchises some dignity (again), they definitely need it after all the past aberrations.

Yeah the cartoon was very toned down for kids. In the original comic version they were much more like real teens, i.e. angsty, emo, beer swilling assholes.

The Heroes in a Half Shell are taking back the streets of New York, and they’re doing it with the kind of style that only PlatinumGames can deliver. In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael combine their unique skillsets to take on Bebop, Rocksteady, Shredder, and a posse of other iconic bosses.
And if that description doesn’t get your blood flowing, check out the trailer:
For years, hardcore fans have been asking for a TMNT game that lets players team up for a little co-op action, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is exactly what they’ve been looking for. And if online co-op isn’t your cup of tea, you can always complete the campaign individually and dynamically switch between Turtles in the heat of battle.
Long-time fans will undoubtedly recognize the art. The developers took a lot of inspiration from IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic book series, blending it with their own distinctive visuals and animation. And lets not forget about the combat. PlatinumGames’ mastery of fast-paced, silky smooth combat is on full display, but referring to this game as an “Action Brawler” doesn’t really do it justice. Director Eiro Shirahama explains it this way:
"We’ve put a lot more into this game than just combat: you can climb walls, glide along wires, and there’s a lot of freedom of movement that ties into the action. With this game, players will be able to feel like they’re the Turtles themselves, running, grinding, and gliding around NYC to prevent crimes."
Each Turtle has a unique stable of maneuvers that bolsters the team’s offensive potential. And when the battle gets really tough, they can combine their strength for an enemy-obliterating team attack. But I should probably warn you; the Foot Clan won’t be easily defeated, even if your teammates are.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan is anticipating to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC this summer. I
I only remember having fun with the Turtles game on the Gameboy.
Thoug i was still a kid back then and loved the Turtles anyways in general.
I never really played any Turtles game in the last (probably 10) years. And as Ixi wrote, i prefer Turtles to be more funny too. Instead of being that serious like in this game.
