finished the game and even if its easier than re1 with cringe worthy story it was still fun. hope they remaster the rest of it

They've been saying that for a while and that's why you have the REvelations line of games now. They won't go even more retro for a new game.
Now for RE2make I have no idea. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst as they say!

It's not I am not enjoying it but I definitely miss the elegance of REmake.

you can put a knife in billys hands if you dont want to waste bullets. or let him use the pistol, finished the game with over 100bullets.

My cursor is visible in game is this normal ? have try alt tab, window mode etc no go wtf is wrong ??

Normal, same as in REmaster. Just move it to the side.

Obviously I am not yet to a point where bullets are plentiful. I'm sure it will happen eventually given it happens in all the other games. And while I haven't tried it I can't see the AI controlling the partner with a knife ending up well.

in REmake i had alot more bullets since i could easily evade most zombies, but in the train chapter of 0 thats often almost impossible due to the narrow paths.
the partner can be a pain in the ass but i absolutely love the item management.
no more boxes, just drop the stuff wherever you want and check the exact location of every item on your map, beautiful.

I just got the handgun parts and the water element or something key.
Decent enough to play it but very flawed indeed. Especially since it was released less than a year after REmake.. from arguably the best to not-so-arguably the worst.
The mansion like Training Center doesn't hold a handle to REmake's mansion. The backgrounds are more detailed thanks to the assets surviving all those years but the aesthetic cannot match the gothic haunted house one of REmake. Elements and mechanics such as the Crimson Heads or daggers have no substitute in this. With 2 characters on screen, dodging is almost impossible since there's a high chance the AI controlled character will stop to aim/shoot (supposedly you have some control over the AI character but my current setup (laptop) does not allow me to test or use it). So far many of the saving locations are not really "save rooms" which is probably why there is no save room theme playing. Weird! And so on.
A tip: when encountering enemies control Billy. The AI for Rebecca will not shoot unless you shoot (she will just aim); the AI for Billy will absolutely spend every single bullet he carries on him if you let him.

I've installed the CODEX version, but when launching the game it said it missed the xinput1_3.dll or something.. So i've downloaded the DLL's latest version,placed it on System32 and SystemWow64 or something (instructions), and the game launches, good!..
....BUT NO SOUNDS AT ALL!!!!!
Any way to fix this?

Surprise buttsex the game threw 3 leech men one after the other
I wasted so many bottles and ammo that I got pissed of, reloaded my save, replayed up to there and just run by them with no damage (one grabbed me but health didn't drop from fine).
Leech men cannot open doors, exactly like all other enemies although they should be smarter... I guess there's nothing like REmake's certain doors going down in this..
Then I went to the Church and fought the Bat with an unbelievably bad camera. Whoever designed that boss battle should be fired.
From what I read at this point I've played 2/3rds of the game.

That was boring. 
Sure, it plays like all the other classic RE titles, but it just doesn't come together.
Monsters, bosses, plot, atmosphere.. meh. I did like like a couple of puzzles (the one to stop the train in the beginning and the one with the boxes in the water) but that's it.. REvelations 2 had better puzzles 
Well, this (partly) and CV (pretty much fully) were outsourced instead of being developed internally by Capcom - unlike 1, 2, 3 and REmake - and it shows.
But CV turned out much better than this.

Yes, it's really bland. The train is maybe kinda cool, if for no other reason than to enjoy the FMVs-as-backgrounds tech. The rest is such a slog.

Jeeeeesus, this was a bitch to play and finish.
The lack of storage is a pain in the ass, and some of the enemies are just too fast (leech zombies, especially) while your character takes 15min to swing that molotov cocktail at them.
Starts great at the train, with all the usual classic RE and RE2 descriptions of numerous objects in a room (which I always liked) but after that it's gone.
Menu wise this is the worst game I've ever played, just trash.
Also, the controls seem to be inconsistent when transitioning between backgrounds in some cases, frustrating as hell
Pretty mediocre RE game, now to see if the RERemaster holds up.

Remake is probably my favourite of the classic REs. I was blown away when I played it back in 2002 and it still holds up now.
I just wish they hadn't binned the original rendered resources so we could have had some natively upscaled backgrounds. Still modders have done a good job.
