dont understand you're constant...dunno trolling ( i would use another word tho) since denuvo is present many will just not buy the game or do as i do and wait until its 90% off or buy a cheap cd-key ,where is the extra income, where is the good that this anti-whatthehellis is doing ? many of us were doing that before denuvo was invented so the fact that i dont play mediocre games for free or great games on day 1 is not a big bother for me

I don't like this trend with Denuvo-protected games. I guess I'll need to abandon my principles of not buying uncracked games with drm or find something else to spend my money on.

Yes, but most of all AAA titles are from this "big houses", so only indie games for most of the people. Laughing Laughing

Why even with apps like this:

http://x64dbg.com/

groups can't make it?

good riddance i guess from AAA:
    - Konami (MGS5) is done with big releases anyway
    - WB (Max,BAK) fucks over PC with crappy and buggy ports , tries to do Ubisoft: the Game clone
    - EA (full on denuvo now) - lately everything they released was crap or at least something which partially destroyed their IP at least in my eyes
    - Ubisoft (FCP) - releases mostly just different skins of their openworld tower climbing " Ubisoft the game number 666 - stone age edition" anyway with some are MP only stuff
    - City Interactive - the biggest polish crapware publisher

To be fair, Mad Max was a great port and ran silky smooth for me. As for the 20% cut for Denuvo: it seems to big to me. I doubt the publishers lose 20% of sales due to piracy, why would they give so much money for protection?

Which "scene" are we talking about? I had a look on the last two pages of some tracker, comprising games 2006 to 08. Groups that were present on those two pages:

reloaded
loading
razer1911
fairlight
deviance
hatred
money
unleashed
itwins
avenged
vitality
detonation
hoodlum
procyon
skydrow
vengeance

New protection coming those days? Bring it on, motherfuckers. The more than dozen groups are trying to trump each other, pirate scene is flourishing, heavy competition. Good times.

Fast forward 2016. Active groups:

reloaded
codex

I'm sure we'll be fine, i mean, we had moments like this before right, new protections tounted as uncrackable and they all fell sooner or later. We'll be fine. The scene has our back.

This year, XCom 2, Deus Ex, Hitman, Dishonored 2, Doom, Dark Souls 3, Mirror's Edge 2, Mass Effect, Warhammer Total War, Homefront, Mafia, Shadow Warrior, Dead Island and so on. I mean, a game like Unravel is nice and all once in a while, but fuck this shit

from this list only MAss Effect Andromeda, Unravel and Mirrors Edge Catalyst are all but confirmed to have denuvo.
In case of Warhammer TW and Xcom , i am pretty sure they will stay on their SteamCEG+custom triggers+cpuid checks DRM combo.
rest is unknown .... some sqeenix ones are likely to have it though

No, i wanted to say that we'll lose quite a bit if the larger publishers continue on same line we're seeing they are starting to now. Denuvo having new versions makes cracking very very difficult. You work ten months for a crack to Game X and by the time you're done Game Y and Z use version 4.0 of what you're working on. Anyway, interesting times we have here.

well the 2015 was the year when random japanese developers delivered more quality PC ports than the big AAA with years of experience with PC development
(..... aka something i would laugh at and call itbullshit couple years ago ....) so who knows what will 2016 bring

20% of each sale ? Laughing

In the end, there is nothing that special about denuvo,it's mainly taking advantage of of 64 bit, which is quite new... the moment it will be improved it will be dead like Starfroce.
