Only audio problem I've had at all so far was in the theater. If I moved while the video/audio was playing it stutters.
Some of these puzzles are a pain in the ass. haha. I can only get the 1 of 3 on the windmill. Got the sewer pipe one and the extended version once I realized you can do them while the boat was moving. Still working on that one on the wall near that one. Almost had it.. Just have to get the boat to the right spot I think.

So, I've managed to solve 212 puzzles until now.
Have to say they range from purely ingenious to plain annoying.
There are a couple where I know exactly what it wants me to do - I just dont want to do it, too much work.
I also have problems with the acoustic puzzles starting after the one with the wolf howling. I just can't translate the noises to a pattern, it makes no sense.
Also stuck at the third garden maze, but I still hope I'm gonna figure that out by myself (a little hint would be nice though)

I grabbed this and it fixes the shadows problem but everything is in Chinese. Is there something I can edit to fix this?
Edit: Nevermind, I see there's a line you can edit in 3dmgame.ini

So regarding the lasers, I have 3 lasers pointing to the mountain, and one from the sand area pointing somewhere random off the island.
I guess I need to do something for that one to point to the top too?
Oh also the Tetris shape stuff is driving me insane.

I think that's the one where you have to hear what sounds your steps make.

Some of the puzzles would drive mad even the Dalai Lama xD. I've unlocked five lasers so far, but I've left behind some incomprehensible business that I couldn't even (I will get there eventually, I'm absolutely not going to read tips..I must suffer ).
In general there is some seriously good stuff in the game, especially the puzzles that actively use the environments and lighting/shadows. There is also a lot of inevitable filler and repetitive material, but it's a game that follows the quantity over quality dogma, so that was to be expected. The whole thing is very very veryaddictive, and after a slow start that didn't impress me, one begins to understand that there's brilliance in the design.
What I find disappointing is the fact that audiologs are almost rambling-like and there's no narrative whatsoever, I believe a metaphysical background like in The Talos Principle for example would have made the game even more interesting.

Yes, just look at the trajectory of the beam..and you'll notice that you can do something about it. Not gonna say more!

here. On the forum.
I've noticed an increasing legality among users

Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..."
SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"

He's not stupid i don't think he doesn't know that piracy is not = lost sales.
This is just marketing nothing else.
That said sales would probably be a lot better if he priced it a bit cheaper 40$ is a bit much for a indie puzzle walking simulator for most people.
But the game is good so it will be profitable.

Sorry,I will have to disagree on this one.
What we are seeing is increasing of grey market,No one here buying from steam unless it's cheap in some countries...
Even before Denuvo, lot of people bought games at good prices,I personally have ~300 legal steam games in my account(around half storedin my inventory)
I bought most of Batman series, the last one is still best legal version, but didn't bought it because of massive problems, not because I couldn't pirate it.
similar thing happened with Dragon age,I bought the first, the second I didn't because it was scaled down, and the 3rd because the move to orign....
My point is,Copy protection doesn't really increase sales,it's the quality of the product.
"Fuck Denuvo"
Your personal opinions != the rest of the forum

This game, walking simulator is not.
Walking simulator is a genre of video games where most of the time you walk from location to location. Dear Esther, The Stanley Parable, etc.
In this game, yes, you walk a lot, but that's not main game mechanic; it's solving the over 600 puzzles. As the game becomes progressively more difficult you end up spending a considerable amount of time in each puzzle; could be 20 minutes, could be hours.
You want to point out its simplicity? Skip the incorrect walking simulator label and call it what it is. A puzzle game.
Next time you guys are going to call Myst a touch screen simulator or something because you "slide" from frame to frame to traverse its game world.
Or Mirror's Edge a running simulator because "all you do is run".

Do the puzzles require logic to solve or just random luck/trying (like most 'hard' puzzle games)?

Basically it looks like this:
The game is divided into several themed locations around the big island (big island like gta5, where you can go anywhere, and themed like bioshocks levels)
You go to a certain location where you first need to figure out the basic "what do this puzzle want me to do" and then there are several puzzles centered around it.
They do require logic.

Most of the puzzles that can be cheated with random luck if you make a mistake they punish you by disabling the previously solved panel making you having to solve it again.
So, logic.
And those that do not punish you when you realize you'll face the same puzzle just harder and harder 50 more times, you'll go back and figure out how to really solve it because your luck is not going to work another 50 times.
So again, logic.
