Well basically this has as much to to with BF 4 as with BF 2 & 1942 so in which topic should it have been?

I could be €50-€60 (even more) easy - if they decided to slamdunk us another BF4 mappack with all maps from BF1-BF3/BC1-BC2.j
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

While well made and thoughtfully created, these videos will never exist as anything more than pipe dreams (I don't think they should be in a "BF5" thread honestly as they're nothing more than conjecture).
Having played Battlefield since Vietnam, and more recently dipping my toes into the vastly co-op centered Vermintide - I've been able to solidly and unwaveringly reinforce conclusions I've held for decades -
1. The overwhelming vast majority of people (players) are fucking stupid and incapable. If you want something done, you have to do it yourself. If you rely on others, they will either fail or ignore the request entirely. Look at how many players in Battlefield fail at simply dropping ammo despite you following them and asking (both via voice and character prompts).
2. People will always opt for the most efficient way of earning points/unlocks/kills - whether the method is cheap (spawn camping), or exploitative (terrain/pathing glitching).
These two points alone pretty much outright murder the grand vision of teamwork and supportive game-play that Nonsense guy has running as a theme throughout these videos.
The best you can hope for in terms of teamwork in a game like Battlefield is a personal squad of friends on VOIP. Encouraging it via game-play won't work, as the two above points always crop up to put a swift end to it.
It wasn't always like this (its gotten worse as the years have dragged on), but DICE and other developers know this, and design games with these tenants in mind. Games have been drifting to opposite ends of the spectrum for a while now - I don't think the right amalgam between hardcore and casual will ever be struck as it's too risky for these big budget devs to try, and the indie devs/modders always drift too far towards hardcore.
TLDR - Tough shit, go back and read it if you want to know what was said! The TLDR craze is fucking idiotic.

There could be so many great ideas...Vietnam, Cold War, WW2/1 and so on, but it's tough to get excited when greediness likes to play safe, avoiding risks and catering to such a large audience which is exactly what happened with the recent Battlefields and Battl3front as well.
Still better than Cowabooty, but that's not exactly a great achievement. Where's your ambition Battlemen
Everything must be quick pick 'n play and flashy, with little depth overall, and this is while being oppressed by DLC policies like having Independence Day's mothership flying upon us (we already have the standard obligatory Season Pass full of stripped contents, soon it probably won't be enough).
Not having mod tools is also vital, otherwise people would be happily playing Forgotten Hope and Project Reality remade in Frostbite, a heresy and a crime
As for the single player campaign, that's another elephant in the room. Going after the authentic cinematicness was clearly a disaster, both BF3 and BF4's single player missions were an ebarrassment towards our status of homo erectus. But not including anything at all isn't the way either, unless there's the decision to go all-in to create a perfectly complete multiplayer experience. Then you remember that it's EA that we're talking about here and you laugh about it xD

Alternative history 1960s after the cuban missile crisis and use of nuclear weapons. Soviet Union amd USA ban their usage but conventional war continues.
So it's a Cold War total war scenario with some battles taking place in WMD-ravaged locations.

Already have that, it's called Verdun, and it's on Steam. Not surprisingly, the trench tactics get really boring after a while.

I would have nothing against a remake of BF Vietnam, or why not BF Iran Iraq or BF Soviet Afghanistan? And would they dare a BF Korea? This would be sweet!!!

Or just a proper remake of 1942 and not that half assed 1943 bullshit they did.
1942 in a new engine, and don't fucking touch anything else would be a great game.

Totally agree, can't believe how bad they butchered it for 1943... And pretty much every game after that they removed so many basic things.
Even though people were generally jackasses and drove the carriers/battleships straight into land so they were sticking straight up in the air, it was still fucking awesome that you could even drive them around.
Also enjoyed cruising around in the subs as well... miss those times.
