Anybody have resolution issue?

1. Not able to change it. Not seeing higher resolution.
2. The exclusive full screen messes up mouse pointer. As in, it is like few inches away from actualy pointer.
3. The normal full screen is not scaling properly. Even at 1080p, bottom 10% is cut. Confused

Thanks.

I had the offset pointer the very first time I attempted to downsample. After I restarted the game it was working fine, including on other attempts to change resolution.

And as was mentioned, you can't use different resolutions in non-exclusive modes (borderless window) because it uses your desktop resolution. You can work around that by changing desktop resolution, obviously, but it's a bit of a clunky way to go about it Smile

Thanks. Smile Thing was, I did set my desktop resolution, but still it wasn't showing.

Anyways, restarting the game fixed it.
Cheers.

After the snowy area there is a more demanding part so get ready for some tanky fps. I get drops to 30 fps there no matter the settings Laughing

i have them on high, so that's not the problem but i was always getting above 40 fps on the snowy parts. There's a muddy jungle part after that and i guess it's more demanding but it doesn't warrant the fps drops imo.

you are cpu limited most likely.

A 980ti can't keep constant 60 fps at max settings (not even using SSAA) even at 1080p. decide for yourself if that is good or bad optimization.

I am not sure what you mean by "even" using SSAA - it's the most demanding thing there is.

I am yet to reach that "bad performance" area, but so far I am getting 85-120 FPS on a 980Ti at 1080p.

you seem to be destroying even nvidia sponsored guide results which are probably already a bit fluffed.

You need to have the game access via family sharing and then use above tool. It's not a crack, but sort of tool which just allows you to play the game even when owner is playing.
(you can simply go offline mode after family share, just to avoid that, the tool is released)

It says in that guide that this benchmark is taken in some very specific area, which by their own admission and clear from results (compare 980Ti vs 970 and SLI) is bottlenecked somehow.
I don't know what area they are talking about so I can't compare.

I am not running it "maxed out" though - Shadow Quality is on High. I have mentioned before that at Very High it can have a serious impact on performance even in relatively small enclosed areas.

In any case, I reached the Soviet installation and the lowest I got was 75 FPS. Not sure how close this is to the worst case scenario.

For the record I am running at 1080p with SMAA injection. Pure Hair "On", Shadows "High", and Sun Soft Shadows "On" (not for performance reasons), everything else is turned up.
It can dip just below 60 at 1440p in that area in worst cases so far.

They unlock as you progress, and some are season pass/pre-order bonuses. Also, you can purchase some.

I think the game said you get more outfits as you progress. But there is also the "Find more DLC" button where you can trade new outfits for real world credits Smile

yeah, i think the majority of the game, even maxed at 1080p, you should be above 60.
It's just the most demanding scenes that will dip.

Or maybe they used an older build.
