Indeed it's like a total slaughter game ;] but in order to unlock bonuses for characters player must do specific things in certain battle e.g. kill enemy generals in particular order and it's impossible without understanding the language. Which is which damnit! ;] |

lol, you guys haven't played many DW games have you?  They are all generally exactly the same.. I doubt this one will be any better.
Don't get me wrong, I own like 5 of them myself on PS2/Xbox and I have a blast, but you need to lie to yourself to get by the horrible AI, disappearing guys, bad landscapes, and the most repetitive gameplay this world has ever known.

It's like cadilacs and dinosaurs or other scroll fighter game but in 3d and covered in chinease flavour. Sounds odd but it's a cool game, long time ago I played the demo of DW2 on PS2, I'm very ancoius to play the english version. Hope I'll be pirated tomorrow!

nah tekken 5 is one of the best fighting games ever, dynasty warriors is a damn lot more repetitive than that believe me, but if you ve never played it before, chances are you ll have a helluva time in the beginning.

On Topic= DW 4 is an amazing game, I played the jap version, and will play this one. And like WooshaQ, I stopped playing the jap version when I found out an english version was gonna be released.
Dynasty Warriors 4 hyper is scheduled for December 15th, so keep your eyes opened, and if you dont like the game or cant run it or figure out the controls, dont be an ass and claim that the game is "shit", like the poor guy above.
Cant wait for this to come out.

Its funny you say that, cause in I think idiots who complain about games not being easy enough for them and not having bla bla etc etc, are the ones with the real problem. Its clear you have a problem with some games. Game is not good, doesnt have x feature well done? fine, complain and whine all you want. But if the error is on your side by not being smart enough to know the difference between game quality and personal opinion and/or mental disability, its not the game's fault.
Also, if you dont like these forums, and think its going "bad", go elsewhere. We are here to speak about games, in this case PC games. We are not here for trolling games without any logical reason and whine.

sorry man but onimusha 3 is worst port i've seen so far, mainly cause they didn't even bothered to change,rename controls from ps2 to pc  |

Horrible port only cause youre not smart enough to figure out the controls by yourself? Its easy, you go to gamefaqs, read the PS2 controls and what they do, and then relate their actions to the actions on your game. Its not like you need to be a rocket scientist you know.
The game is flawlessly ported, and in case you didnt notice, it was highly optimized for dual core and for the not so great computers, with every detail and effect applied. Even more, textures and overal quality was optimized. And please bare in mind this game was labeled as, quote "one of the most beautiful games ever released for the PS2".
For everyone that wonders what the controls are, I will post them here so you all know them and dont have a problem with that anymore.
By the way, in order to get this information I didnt have to get a rocket scientist degree, I just simply went to gamefaqs, grabbed an onimusha3 FAQ for ps2 and copy/pasted the controls.
R3 ---- Onimusha mode or "demon form transformation"
Start ---- Menu screen/Skip cut-scene or "display management screen"
Select ---- Pause or "temporary stop game"
Square ---- Attack
Triangle ---- Use magic/Cancel or "use of strategy husk"
Circle ---- Absorb Souls
X ---- Examine/Check/Decide
L1 ---- Guard/Defense
L2 ---- Map View or "Display map"
R1 ---- Battle Stance/Draw/Charge Weapon or "Care"
R2 ---- 180 degree turn

man u just fan of this game thats why u being so protective but admit that they could change X to Enter or E or F or whatever but not to button that doesn't exist on pc if u not using ps2 joypad & u don't have to be rocket scientist to make those little changes do u ? not to mension that most of the background loox like Resident Evil 3 wich was in .jpeg ,tell me one more thing why in de hell i have to read faq from somewhere to simply operate in this game

Well people, you dont seem to get the point. I did you a favour, I posted the controls so that your sissy asses can "operate" this game.
The point is that you dont say a game sucks only because of that little thing that everyone with half a brain can solve. So if you dont have common sense, dont blame the game.
Lazy bumbs, always wanting everything to be served in a silver tray.
Oh, and Im no fanboy, dickface999, I just say what is true, or would you rather prefer a game where the control display has the PC interface but the performance is crap?? I personally wouldnt like that.
Sometimes game companies have deadlines, and they should prioritize some things over others.
For me, its not a big deal to have the ps2 control display, it doesnt make a damn difference while the game plays stupendously. These guys spent their time optimizing the game, and not making it a "sissy-free" experience so that you dont need to move your fatass and look for controls.

what kinda optimizing a u talkin about ? textures look like 2000 & it's 2005 here is it ? thats why it runs smooth on low range pc's
about controls ;i got used to them very fast it's just stupid to see L1 or R1 instead of pc keys that's it
& one more thing don't forget it's only a game not like your life depends on it or is it?

Exactly, as you well said it, "whatever"... I wont bother to provide links to interviews speaking about tech optimizations by the team that did the port themselves, nor will I further explain why you cant run this game if you dont have a 100% directx 9 compatible vcard, I see its useless to explain when ignorance is deep into the subject.
