Not me, sorry. Sad
Testing it for the past days was enough. Not sure what you want to keep doing even, as characters will get wiped anyways and you won't find any new locations or features just now. Very Happy

Just waiting now, to see how Ubilol will develop the game after this beta.

Yeah I'll wait for now as well, especially after the wipes are clearly coming (we jumped into the story as level 4 and are somewhere in the early game, no way they'll let you play with that gear on the start).

There might be an another BETA this month. 16th to 21st February.

Quote:
Xbox Italy's official Facebook page has details of an open beta for The Division.

Ubisoft's online shooter will throw its doors open to the public from 16th to 21st February, the page has detailed.

This second beta test (the first to be public) has yet to be officially announced, so things may still change - although Microsoft should probably know what's what.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Yeah, I want to see more stuff before I take a decision. Also, the devs should start presenting the features. I want to know if there are any battlegrounds/arenas and what the end game content looks like for PvE.

The beta was great for first few hours, but i honestly doubt it will scale up without any quality degradation. It will get boring more you will play as most gameplay features that it has to offer you already seen, i don't think the final product will be better than Beta.

Well the core of the game won't drasticly change, but with a whole lot of new missions, the storyline, crafting, new skills/mods, and the perk system activated, I think it can have quit a longevity. And with rumors of raid, it could get get good IMO.

But of course, it will always stays a cover based shooter so probably most of the fight will look similar.

If the core gameplay is fun, like the shooting mechanics and movement, it can be played for that reason alone. You go into the dark zone, shoot some fools, and log off again. Think about CS and how many times people play the same map over and over, but the core gameplay is fun and competitive. I don't know how it will be in the Darkzone when there are even more legendary weapons, and the power-players get the best stats, and whether there'll be a huge advantage over the more casual players in that regard. The weighting between skill / gear should be more towards skill, but here the type of gear you have truly makes a big difference not only to the damage of your shots, but the amount of HP you have, and how effective your abilities are.

The cheating stuff is what's bothering me the most. The graphics clearly not E3 standard but my PC right now can't handle the ultra anyway so even though I think it sucks in general to see games come out worse than promised, for me right now it doesn't matter.

The AI had no brain, but the yellow NPCs were able to deal damage so you have to take cover, which was good. Seemed to be mini-bosses with higher damage/hp too in the dark zone.

The core gameplay has to be good, and surprisingly to me it felt like it had good third-person shooter mechanics, except that you cant choose to kneel, go prone. The stances are governed by interacting with cover, which is a snap-to cover driven system. Most animations looked okay as well.

Didn't like how the weapons just appeared on your backpack, and that only the one (of two) main weapons appears visually. If you carry two weapons it should appear on your character. Maybe it could add extra movement weight or something too...

I was hoping for zombies, but no zombies because its aggressive smallpox apparently.

Lol i was expecting some sneaky hidden zombies or something to come out of some area as a surprise, didnt get it lol.

The AI is soooo Ubisoft like, most of the time it just rush toward you and shoot, harder enemies ? More life, same dumb AI.

Also, i read somewhere that Ubisoft as of now does not have any anti cheat system or anything planned for the release, which can be a bit downer for the people that want PvP only from this game.

Yes, stupid AI.

Yes, no server checks for info sent by clients is a huge noob mistake. Some say it has been switched off for the beta, but I don't believe it.

Judging by the beta alone this could probably be a 4/5 / 7 or maybe 8 of 10 game. Not a 5/5 or 9/10 depending on the rating system people or sites use.

The Dark zone won't appeal to a lot of people, and its supposed to be an important part of the game.

Also, cant you just camp at extraction points and when somebody calls evac wait like till its 20 sec and than just massacre dudes there and send gear ? What's the purpose to wander the dark zone if other can do ti for you while you camp, i see this as major cluster fuck because i myself was a lot of time in this position.

Smallpox

Extremely rare
Zero US cases in 2015

Spreads easily
Requires a medical diagnosis
Lab tests or imaging always required

Short-term: resolves within days to weeks

Naturally occurring smallpox was destroyed worldwide by 1980.

In addition to flu-like symptoms, patients also experience a rash that appear first on the face, hands and forearms, and then later appears on the trunk.

There's no treatment or cure for smallpox. A vaccine can prevent it. But the vaccine's side effect risk is too high to justify routine vaccination for people at low risk of exposure to the virus.

How it spreads
By airborne respiratory droplets (coughs or sneezes).
By skin-to-skin contact (handshakes or hugs).
By saliva (kissing or shared drinks).
By blood products (unclean needles or unscreened blood).

aka kill it with fire? I guess.

Gave the beta one last run and as expected people are being dicks for the sake of being dicks because it's the last day.

One thing I liked is that almost always when players go rogue, the rest swarm them to deliver a swift and harsh punishment. Laughing

Sucks when it's you and your fellow humpers, though. Razz

yeah, you absolutely can do that if you don't care about losing dark zone currency and xp for dying as a Rogue (granted someone kills you for stealing someone's loot that is).

so essentially, if you want to trade your currency/xp for someone's loot, that's very possible.

Sometimes you can kill a single guy and get away with it, so its a win win, really.

I got the impression the whole Rogue system is subject to change, and it really should. When you're at Stage 5 Rogue, you're manhunted by the entire zone, and there's absolutely no real reward for surviving that, and the rules of engagment are really lacking any sense.

The whole lore and fiction behind the Dark zone and the Division is flawed.

Why would trained government agents in the socalled The Division fight for loot and kill other friendly agents? Why would the Division arrange a manhunt that lasts 8 minutes and if you survive everything is forgotten and you're a full and accepted member of the Division again? Its so stupid. Ah, video games.

Bigger dark zone, won't that mean more players = more players in the lynch mob hunting you down? Everyone has your exact position on their HUDs/UI so "hiding" won't be possible because magic.

Isnt it 24 players max in the DZ? So 24 players in a small zone vs 24 players in a larger zone isnt the same, unless there is something I'm not getting

Yea this and DZ has higher level areas where probably most of the well equipped players will go to anyway. And even though it wasn't really noticable, the way they handled different sessions/servers/instances (where we haven't encountered any cheaters in 7/8 of our time playing) was so smooth you didn't notice anything. There are little to no loading times except on Fast Travel (I think), which is a huge bonus as well.

The mob gathering and camping was only apparent once at the Library and many players came rushing to that place, it was cool though Laughing

Wait. Its february already. Little to late to upgrade to 980 Ti. And it's not worth ditching 970 just because of one game which is made by Ubisoft.

The one thing I want from this game is more enemies (+ random spawns/perhaps even wandering enemies). Running around looking for enemies, even in such a small zone was really boring. I loved everything else, but there was a little too much running around doing nothing for my taste.

This also seems like something many people agree with, so hopefully they'll change it a little.

Pretty sure I saw a while ago on one of the devs twitter that the spawns was really reduced in the beta

Of course they will invade another multiplayer game.
