i hate her new face, the old one from the first game was alright, now its like watching your favorite character from some tv show played by another actor because the original one died...
I can see your soul at the edges of your eyes..

I'll be dreaming of being chased by Bay tonight, with fire popping out of nowhere and the apocalypse mercilessly spreading behind my back.
I finished it, and I liked it more than the previous re-booty, though it doesn't change the fact that as a Tomb Raider title, it still was quite poor, that is without a doubt. The only way to overcome the cinematic fear was trying to forget about the name by using a pear-shaped neuralyzer: as a triple A bombastic run-of-the-mill couchbuster intended as a competitor to Assassin's Creed and the likes, I found it okay/passable, nothing more than that though. If I had spent money on it I wouldn't be happy, but Asus saved the day with my card so I can't complain about that factor.
The nine (ten with Baba) optional tombs and the rare instances where you have to use your brain/explore to play with the environment were by far the highlights for me, with the rest going from average (the frequent shooting parts, simplistic "stealth" and focus on looting and Crofting everything like a drunk crow) to downright awful (the forced cinematic scripts/animations for gamepads, the aforementioned escape scenes, that horrific epilogue ).
Which bring us to the elephant in the room, which is the writing. Rhianna Pratchett once again proved herself to be one of the worst writers of this generation. After Thi4f's nonsensical gibberish that I still can't even, Tomb Rambo 2013's disgraceful plot, Mirror's Edge's hodgepodge and many others, we have this...thing. Some of the most forgettable characters of the recent years, Shyamalandingdong plot "twists", people healing like a Wolverine Padre Pio
Tomb Raider has always had an awful story, but at least back in the day it was just a secondary aspect, like in a B-movie, whereas here it's always the overly-attached focus and men it sucks.
Honorable mention goes to the visuals, very pretty (despite the slowdowns), with Purehair beating Nvidia's Hairworks 3-0. Same for the HUD, elegant and uncluttered (provided that you turn off the silly glowing), others should take notice and follow the true viscerality.. only *that* part of the viscerality though!

Eh... Tomb Raider, it takes us back to our teenage years where everything was possible... even triangular tits!

So, because denuvo can't be cracked, this is now a porn thread?
I used to be a knee like you. Then I took an adventurer in the arrow.
