surely they are working in the backround on stuff like denuvo, if i would have to bet i would place mine on they got around it but not clean / fully working in every scenario -> doesnt apply to the scene rules -> no public release. and no that wouldnt imply an official internal release

thats my bet also...probably some independent guys or p2p guys will start to release some cracks and somewhere in the future we will get a scene release.Some on you who aren't new to the internet and crack forums and such should remember that the same shit happened with Chaos Theory.

The scene was newer about providing you or me with free games but the contest within their community and groups like 3DM....well they were about traffic on their forum and looooved to be drama queens

Wish this comparison would die already. It's different now in every respect. Back then there were a gazilion scene groups at the same time. Right now its reloaded and codex. After you cracked securom, it was game over for it, it meant nothing after that. Denuvo is something else, since it evolves, it has versions, exploits found now get patched later, defeating Just Cause 3 after two years means nothing because Mass Effect Andromeda will have an entirely new version which wou'll have to start over from scratch.
It's quite literally the worst position piracy has ever been in. Two fucking active scene groups that haven't released a single Denuvo protected game yet and a protection that changes constantly. The scene hasn't even released fucking XCom 2 yet which is a fucking steam game.

What are you talking about? there is cracked XCom 2 versions all over the place..

There were newer versions for Starforce and they got cracked quite easily,hell,it's true for Seucrom as well,the key is to fully reverse engeenier the protection,as RELOADED deed..
It's been said countless of times and having enough evidance:
Denuvo at is core,is not really something new... it's the encryption,which taking advnage of 64 bit area,all recent Denuvo games are 64 bit only,similar protection already existed for 86x for years....

It seems natural. Since the scene is all but dead and consists of 2 groups, theres no competition, no incentive, no real reason to get out of your way. Remember about seven years ago, the rld-vitality wars? They were trying so hard to trump each other we have releases from both groups from those years, each trying to get it out as fast as possible. How many nukes and nfo's were there to read and laugh back then.

as far as i know CODEX is a new group so maybe new groups will continue to emerge ,maybe the old groups will get some new blood,maybe some new tools will surface and wil make denuvo much more easily to crack.Since Denuvo is a drm after all or that is what i understand from people who have more knowledge than me in this matter and the rest seems PR stunts some new tools is all the groups need.There a lot of maybe's in there so time will probably answer which is wrong and which is wright.

from what i understood CODEX are crackers from old Skidrow and Hatred

not exactly like that, they did use skdirow/rld emuss, but not in the way of just uploading RLD crack. They renamed dll and VMprotected them , which resulted in RLD emu being encrypted till this day and age
