I just couldn't resist testing out EA's refund feature.
And boy is it glorious. they make it sound like it's a manual review process, even say "we will get back to you in 48 hours" once you press submit, but i was refunded instantly, via an automated process.
They ask you why you are refunding, and offer a few generic answers. I picked "other", and that's it.
Still playing the game in origin offline mode fine.
I do feel bad since the game is awesome, but I had to see how this feature works.

take note that few of the low score reviews are retards who didn't even master the basic controls.
Like gamerevolution. the guy was backtracking to untangle himself, whenever he ran out of yarn.
But there is a button to reset yourself, which keeps game progress actions saved, while reseting yarny to the last checkpoint.
I'm pretty average at puzzle games, and this so far has been a pretty easy ride, 6 levels into the game. maybe 2-3 situations took me more than a few min.

what I did was enter game once in online mode origin. then i exited the game, went offline mode in origin, refunded, and kept the PC on for two days, with origin in offline mode until I finished the game. game can be exited fine.
As soon as I went into origin online, game dissapeared from the library and I couldn't start it anymore it would ask me to purchase or activate.
it's a short game, so no worry about denuvo license requiring a call home.
yeah, i think the 980ti can do 6k maybe even at constant 60. if not, 5 k definitely. the last level is the most demanding though, the one he is playing is the least demanding.
had no issues at 3360x2100 with a 970 constant 60fps, and still max GPU usage was 80%, mostly 60-70%.
so definitely use the DSR to the max, anyone with a gtx970 or above. absolutely stunning looking game.

You can just block Origin from going online and login offline til you license expires or you use windows update/change parts in PC.
No need to leave PC working all the time or not restart.

as I recently tried to mess with some of the denuvo protected games and offline modes on my PC and the experience even deepen my hatred and disgust on this protection... no way I am buying a game with it again ...

Indeed, I was tempted to follow the exploit-y way (especially after reading Witchy's review that made me want it even more ), but I think I'll just activate the patient_pirate_bear mode, forgetting about the game until the magic happens.
