Such a shame the rest of the game wasn't as great as the hospital sequence.
Might buy it to play MGO, but I'm sure that'll be ruined in no time.

It is just too repetitive this game.

well thats not really true, game is not bad at all, it got interesting again when u recruit Quiet, and i read that end of the game she leaves haha |

This game is such a bore it's unfunny. I'm 13 hours in and I've only got about 5 items/weapons unlocked from R/D. It's repetitive and boring and drags out for the sake of playtime; driving for 3 minutes on homebase to struts? COme on. Why is there no fast travel? Retarded storyline and just an incoherent diarrhea of a story. I'm glad the franchise and Konami are dead after this POS.
I like the engine tho, wish they make a good game using it some day.

Finally started playing this after going through the whole metal gear solid series (minus revengeneance). Feck me, the engine in this game is a fecking marvel. Wish other developers would use it.

For Tutorial you must use a savegame to skip it, it's included in the crack archive.

Yeah, been holding off this game for a good while. But do i miss any cutscenes by doing so? Anyway, if i have to find a savegame for chapter 43/44 as well, then i might just as well forget it.

You can just watch the beginning on Youtube. It's nothing important thoug IMO.
But i don't know about the later missions, as i haven't played it yet and didn't really care for the game.

Well, i caved and bought it. And holy shit this game is brutal. I fail every mission a good many times before finally succeeding. Sneak perfectly and suddenly an enemy catches a glimpse of you for 1 millisecond and the whole game goes on full alert for half an hour probably. Not really good game design, yes if somewhat realism was the intent then it is, but as a game it's too unforgiving, especially during long missions.
And i don't like that Big Boss is almost silent during gameplay and cinematics, but suddenly becomes relatively talkative when playing those tapes.
