Didn't know of these (the past mgs/TW3) ones back when I bought my gigabyte 970, but on the other hand I think there was none active in july. At least I didn't find one

There's a "club action" for having participated in the closed beta and another one for having participated in the open one that will start tomorrow.

These give UPlay points and can also give exclusive in-game rewards though usually it's minor things. Smile

There's really no explanation for the PvP. The whole thing is pretty messed up if you ask me.

All Division agents are supposed to be Good Guys. In the DZ you can murder your friends/collegues and still be an accepted member of the Division, so let's just say the Agency is pretty shoulders down when it comes to treason. Very Happy

Yeah that pvp part in this game is so weird, lets go hunting together for other rogue agents, but wait they're all on the same side. Heck you can even shoot the people you invite in your own group and then go rogue

Devs were probably too lazy to create some sort of structure, they must be like, lets just throw some randoms shit together and see how it plays out Laughing

The smart thing about it is that it creates tension from nothing. Even if nobody really has the plan to go Rogue nearby, you never stop thinking that someone might do it...

They need to fix the whole gameplay surrounding what the objectives are once you do go Rogue, and balance properly the rewards/penalties as well. It wasn't well done in the closed beta.

Let's just assume that by enetering the DZ you risk being overexposed to the biological hazard which may make you see hallucinations and go violent and start killing people on sight. Then the unaffected division agents in the area must put you down like a sick dog Cool Face

Soo... WHEN exactly is that beta starting? Everywhere it says "18th - 21st", but on the uplay page it's "Starting February 19th".
Is it another case of "console people get an extra day of beta" and for US it starts tomorrow?

Two annoying things with the beta that I've noticed so far.

That fucking forced "tutorial" video, at least it only ran once.

Boots right into the game and of course to apply all settings changes you need to restart the game, would be better if it just entered to the main menu.
(But at least the config folder seems to be for the full game as well so not a huge deal anymore.)

Other than that? Eh it's a standard third person cover shooter with very light RPG elements so far, bit like borderlands but as a MMO.

EDIT: And the server went down. Razz
(Hopefully this won't be too common for the full game but I don't have any higher expectations when the game launches or a couple of days after for that matter, we'll see.)

yep entered the Derp Zone and crashed here too, played for an hour, did the morgue mission.

idiot randoms were just rushing through the whole level.
