Performance seems worse this time man.
Getting some strange stuttering and drops to 40-45 fps, especially in fights. This time i even lowered a few settings, compared to the previous beta, where i had 50-60 fps all the time.
Also that chat lag of like 1 minute, WTF.

So it's not only me. I even get drops to 30fps on my R9 390x and I had no such problems in the previous beta. I also experience some annoying stuttering.

Game actually runs pretty good on my PC. Like it so far.
Do we all start at lvl 4? will full game start at lvl 1? heh
The Beta skips over the tutorial zone, that's why the story starts mid-air (literally ).
Makes sense. I did not play previous beta so I would not know any issues you guys experiencing. 390x 16g of ram and 3770k cpu. Runs at 59fps with default settings. I think this game uses Gameworks from nVidia so it's pointless to go above that I think.
there are some extra graphics settings so thats why its more demanding now
Which are these extra graphics which I don't see but apparently lead to stuttering and horrible fps drops. I had a fight with 5 npcs where my fps dropped to 19 and couldn't get back even above 30. It's not like I have an wooden PC.
It's funny that performance problems started after the deal signed with Nvidia, but I don't want to step too far into conspiracy territory.
i dont remember sharpening or some nvidia specific options being there in closed beta, like pcss shadows, particle effects, they are way down in the menu. also by default aa is set to supersampling, i reduce some settingsj and my sutters disappeared

preformance seems alot better this time,no more frame drops in sli for me
Can anyone confirm that this open beta has exactly the same content to play as the closed beta? So i dont waste my time and deleted to oblivion..
There is one new underground mission, you and 3 others can do, after that it's all the same.
Thanks.. guess ill pass this, was wondering if there would be more pvp modes or coop modes wich require more than going throught those dumb Ai enemies..
This one i will not buy.. there are better games with linear missions , (Spec Ops the line comes to mind)

Although the mission levels are cool, it does seem pretty linear and boring
case in point - new video of level 25 marksman from IGN
The enemy variety is way too low for such a game, this is a huge issue. They are level 25 and still fighting the same cleaners that we fight at level 4.
This is really disappointing. The gameplay is just shit. Recoil feels random and unpredictable. Sometimes the gun climbs as it should, sometimes it would jerk from side to side.
Abilities are far too utilitarian, which again highlights the problem with this setting, and the type of game this is.
This setting is just too grounded for loot focus ARPG to work.
Gameplay is too static. No destructive covers, barely any rag doll-enabled objects around. The environment is full of clutter and detail, but they are all simply covers, you can't interact with them. The game can be reduced to a room full of pillars, some explosive barrels, loot on the ground and it won't make any difference.
One thing I find funny is that they put some time into making those glasses destructible, however it doesn't do it in any exciting matter. It is so tame and low key. They really should have learn something from Siege.
Yup, I concur with you wholeheartedly. I tried it as well this evening and my experience with the beta was practically:
I even disabled most of the annoying hud elements, but at the fifth identical wave of enemies I had already had enough of the simplistic, Gearsofwarish shooting. There's no depth whatsoever apart from upgrading your gear and picking the special skills.. a giant, wasted opportunity.
The visuals are actually decent despite the disgraceful downgrade (the performance on the other hand - not so much, at least for me). The problem though is that, like you said, the world itself really has very little physicality/interactivity and everything feels 'fake' so to speak. The design is open world, yet it's like a virtual sequence of big rooms and corridors, sometimes masked as streets, but the end product doesn't change.
I was also fool enough to play it forever alone mode xD. Men, the single-player "story" follows the mediocre generic Action_plot_089 and all the MMOish routines (Talk to X->Go to Y->Shoot at anything that moves/sometimes Bring back Z, rinse and repeat) are like the rotten cherry on top of the gorgonzola pie.
"The Division is a great single player game, period", Ubi recently said. lol no, just no. This is not how it works, there's absolutely no immersion that way and the game is clearly not something designed to be even remotely entertaining in solo. Ubi pls!
Well the game feels "ok" not super bad or super good, but I had fun in this beta. But my problem with this game will be its repetitiveness that it's going to be as repetitive as it can be. Go to location A and kill in this sector, then kill in the next sector and so on. If this game will be all about that I will prolly not buy it. As for the darkzone I guess it will be fun for a week or 2 and then everyone will get bored because it's mainly the same thing over and over just to get some better loot which will not save this game from a short period of hype and online play.
So far I'm sure I'd like to play more but I don't think I want to buy the game, at least not price that it currently is.
+ I'd rather play Dark Souls 3 which look like the better game times 10.
Wouldn't it be nice if instead of only closing car doors you could get into the car and shoot from inside or use it for cover? I mean...I honestly don't get the point of closing doors...

Do you seriously believe that anyone in a firefight would decide to go inside a car as protection? A car door is as good protection as a sheet of paper
