Watched Revolver the other night 8/10 - Am I only the only person on the planet who liked this movie? Perhaps it was because of my low expectations.

Boat Trip 7/10 - entertaining dumb comedy. Was on T.V. and got hooked to it. Not bad considering the premise of the film. Midway through contained many funny scenes.

40 Year Old Virgin: 6.5/10, not a bad comedy, some good parts but i thought it was a bit to long, almost 2 hours four a dumb comedy like this is a bit much, could have had a better effect in 1h30 or so.

The Dukes Of Hazard: total crap, not funny, narrator was just dumb with lame comments, i never saw the original show but if it's anything like the movie i don't even want to see it, got bored but i'm feeling ill so i was too lazy to turn it off 2/10

Did you watch the unrated dvd version that just came out? That one is 17 minutes longer than the theatrical cut, and imo loses a lot of the fast pacing of the shorter cut with jokes that are kinda funny but don't quite work. Smile

Super mario bros. This has to be a 3/10. I've watched it countless times before but never actually taken it as a film itself. It's just a poor film in general and only watched because of the mario connections. If the story was about some carpernters called bill and fred I can guarentee that it would be hated. Half way through I took this mentality and it was an eye opener Razz.

Serenity 5/10

Seriously, everyone said this was sick so i decided to watch it with a friend of mine...and man, the movie is filled with cliche after cliche and shit that is beyond cheesy. From how the characters look to the acting to the plot, the whole fuckin thing is cheesy.
The fighting was cool mind you, but they should have used a different chick, not some alien looking broad...dumb fuckin movie imo

yes that's the one, some friends of mine wanted to watch it in the theatre (the short version) dubbed in french, wasn't that great in english, already seen it so i didn't feel like it.
Ended up watching Just Like Heaven with my gf, some funny parts but that's what i call a real chick flick, not really worth the ticket. i'd give it a 6/10, not too bad, not too great, pretty good to watch on tv on a sunday night or something.

Its about a group of guys who go after Nazi War Criminals after WW2....some may rate it lower, but I really enjoyed it.

That good or bad?

How high - 6/10

Too much cussing / overly nigga speak for it to be funny. I don't mind it all but for the script writers just to be like "holla bitch shit my nigga. Shit, pass tha blunt nigga you hoggin that shit dog" is a bit uncreative Smile.

Aeon Flux (2005) 6/10

Not a bad film by any means but in comparison to the animated series it all seems very plain and overall it fealt like a missed opportunity on the part of the film makers to exploit some of the most interesting and oddball characters and ideas out there.

Charlize Theron looks stunning as Aeon, perhaps too pretty and too womanly/curvy to really capture the role authentically, nice to have some eye candy in there though. Wink

Agreed...plus, it influences the lil white suburb kids...which is so annoying. Buncha kids thinking they are tough cuz they wear sean jean and wear clothes 3 sizes to big...I cant wait till that shit dies out...
Dont get me wrong, I wear baggy clothes myself, but its for practical reasons...not because its "cool"

Battlefield Earth 3000: 1 / 10

i though that this movie was maybe hated for being based on ron hubbard´s "teachings", i like travolta so i gave it a chance.
well, this movie is one of the worst i ve ever seen, its complete bullshit and travolta´s crappiest role ever. stay far, far away from this piece of turd, i even dare to say that the acting in braindead was better.
