What exactly is the problem with denuvo? Will it slow down the system or similar?

Because is half-online DRM. And you might get fucked up playing your legit game some day due to its restrictions.

Ok.. so nothing new really. there's been games like that in the past, i remember the first Bioshock for example, lots of talk about that when it was new.. hopefully cracks comes out eventually or they abandon the protection after a while.

i think one of the problems is that back inthe days with these kind of harcore protection , they got a lot of fluck from people and the protections were dissected to find any potential problem.... nowadays only think that denuvo needed to stop people discussing it and dissecting it was to say we are not as completely awesome and better than the stuff we created before, nothing suspisious is going on here" and use their marketing to detach themselves from the term "DRM" and people are happily fucked in the butt without even knowing it .... havent even saw the "offline mode" time limit tested on some tech site and its pretty much unknown to general public

"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Yes he is so butt hurt due to seeing people play this game absolutely fine on your typical gaming machine, yet because he has such high specs he should be wiping the floor with it! go go go retardation once again on throw shit in the case and because its all pricey it should be all fine from the get go!

oh er, lol that was not a dig at his problems before some new mod gets over clicky.

"map covered with icons, typical UBI-soft game" the guy is an idiot.. 99% of all RPG's and open world games has that. Also he complains you have to craft and collect stuff.. so it would be less "derp" if for example arrows magically appeared? Rolling Eyes collecting herbs is pretty much a standard in all RPG's, no one complains about that.. i can also see how collecting herbs in a game set in the stone age makes more sense than in most games.

Anyone expected this to be something other than a completely generic open world game?

The only real interesting part (to me at least) is that its set in the stone age, and the environments looks detailed and nice. Everything else will be the generic open world stuff we are used to, maybe with the exception of taming animals, which i guess isn't that common.

I'm pretty sure their intention is to sell it because of the setting Smile

However, given the development time - there's no way it can change anything about the formula that's really significant.

Maybe if you love Far Cry - it could be enough, but I'm bored just looking at screenshots.

It's one of those games I might spend 10 minutes on and then regret paying 5 Euro at a Steam sale in a couple of years.

You can ask for refund if you'll only play 10 minutes.

PCGamesHardware.de benchmarks.

A 970 on average only gets ~46 with max details?

True, but I have a sick tendency to keep games just to have them lying around.

10 minutes??

Even Steam offers 2 hours, 14 days after you bought it.

6,5 out of 10. In dutch though. Main complaint is that the game is repetitive and about the same as all ubisoft games of the last 8 years.
