Ok, last thing, i know all that i need about the direct X9 videos, shaders ans so on (and if i were you, i woudn't say anything about my ignorance without beeing 100% sure) The texture resolution, the depth of field and many aspects of OIII were increased, but the req for DX9 is comical compared to the overrall texture quallity- They were able to make use of DX8 with no problem and still good results without limiting the gamers (Isn't the POP3 much better without the need of DX9?)
Anyway i wait with impatience the dynasty for PC. It is promising..

i noticed that this game is classified as a strategy game, i thought it was a fighting game? (i've never played any DW games before)

Well, there are some tiny amounts of strategy to it. Like where you want to run your guy and who you want to kill next. 
Generally each general has his legion of troops that will stand there and let you kill them. And each of these general/legion setups are doing a specific thing on the map (pre-scripted) so it's up to you who you want to go kill and stop.
There are some other slight strategy elements as well, there are little bases on the map you can take over, but they don't really do anything after you do. And there are reinforcement points you can take over, and when you do those points will spawn troops for your side as opposed to the enemy side. But even when those troops spawn, they don't do anything.
You will never see the AI fighting amongst itself, and if you do, it's one or two minor swings that don't do any damage at all.
The generals themselves will fight amongst eachother a little bit more, but it's a rare occurrence and still the damage done is minimal.
Basically, this is how each map will play out:
* Map starts, generals yelling a bunch of nonsense that you don't really listen to.
* Rush off on your horse (or on foot) and plow over a bunch of troops that don't do anything.
* After about the 200th troop you _will_ get bored and just start running past them and killing the generals.
* Run all over the nearly empty and boring maps in search of the generals who are found by looking at your map.
* Meet up with every general on the map and dispatch them with ease, unless they are a specially scripted general like Lu Bu (who has been getting weaker with each game, go try to beat him in DW2 for a real challenge).
* After smacking all the generals around and getting the power up items (attack, defense, new weapons) you can ride off to the boss, kill him, and end the map.
* Generally you will be ignoring all the orders your leader is sending you.
* Power up your character and watch your bodyguards power up as well.
NOTE: Your bodyguards will NOT help you when you need it, they will however steal the last hit on each general. Back in the day when it mattered who landed the blow they would steal your kill reward from you as well, I believe this is changed in the newer versions.
* On the 5th of 6th map of the story, you will also get bored of running around and killing the generals. Soon you will ride straight past the entire army and kill the leader to end the map.
* Do the above 20 or so times, once for each character.
* Unlock new characters to do the same thing with.

And its just german language? I'll look into it. Most of these games can change its language by changing a simple line on the windows registry, just like onimusha 3.
