Are there genitals in game? Or did the French Americanize?
All I see is some shadow, might be a bush but with those shite graphs once can't be sure.
Most of the time you'll have to slap the dead body around a bit to get it into the "proper" pose so Ubisoft might just remove ragdoll collisions on corpses and call it a performance fix.
But yeah it looks more like hair to me if you do get a closer look: (Hell there's even a proper arse crack.)

(No idea if Ubisoft intended for it to be used for target practice though. )
EDIT: No idea if there's male nudity too, there's some dead naked guy "prop" used here and there though.
(The Udon - or was that pasta? - dudes love decorating their little caves and such with bodies for whatever reason.)
I'm mostly just doing stupid things with the ragdoll system but actually it's nice to see Ubisoft trying and be a bit more "correct" when it comes to this type of basic clothing (Or lack thereof.) but yeah going by the growing number of Steam screenshots showcasing this "feature" Ubisoft might get yelled at by some sensitive group or another and will silently patch it out in a future update.
(Does it have a ESRB/PEGI nudity rating? That could cause some problems for them too if not.*)
(*Although I don't think the developers accounted for players slapping dead bodies around for screenshot purposes, this isn't something you'd actually notice otherwise unless the ragdoll animations glitch out or other very rare conditions, it's not like you can drag dead bodies either though that would have helped for stealth.)
EDIT: Also unsure if nudity is only among the Udan neanderthal or also seen among the more homo-sapiens (Or what to call them.) Wenja, typically the Wenja settlers wear actual clothing made of leathers and the like whereas Udan wear raggy robes and bits of scrap.
(There's some Izila tribe as well later on in the game, haven't encountered those yet but I guess they'll be a bit more primitive in appearance too.)
EDIT: Pretty sure this is also one of the few games where arrows and the like actually stick around for a longer period of time instead of fading away.
(And where you can actually target the groin area and have the projectile stick though as far as I can tell you either hit the body for normal damage or head for critical, no limb damage for say slowing down or crippling enemies and animals.)
(Though for what little I know stabbing a spear into someones arse or clubbing them right in the balls ought to be just as effective really, thin hides don't really cushion blows that well after all though I haven't actually checked so maybe there's actually a animation or something for that "perfect" spear throw or bow shot. )
EDIT: Also on the subject of low-blows wonder whom decided that the badger is the ultimate predator? (They're the last unlockable tameable creature besides the legendary ones.)
(They were in Far Cry 4 too I believe or some similar creature.)

in far cry 4, i've seen 4 man soldier groups with a car and automatic weapons run and scream at the sight of a badger
Runs okayish maxed out (except for AA which I force via ReShade) on my GTX 970, 56 FPS average in benchmark, a bit worse ingame. Some vids if you're interested:

what clocks on your 970?
I've got Gigabyte GeForce GTX970 G1 Gaming 4GB DDR5, don't remember tampering with it so I guess it's 1178MHz base/1329MHz boost and 7000MHz mem.
One of the Steam threads was about how some of the animals in the game lived in northern America and not Europe where the game is set so they've taken some artistic freedom or how it's called with the setting.
Then one of the first replies was how America didn't exist back then so this couldn't possibly be true and another recent comment was about how all landmasses were together as the single "pangea" supercontinent, I stopped reading around there.
EDIT: You have a grappling hook by the way, pretty advanced too whereas I don't expect there to have been something like that around during that time period.
The game is practically Fantasy, they openly admit it too.. The ad for the game even says "this is not the stone age as you know it, it is far cry's stone age" (something like that).
i mean that's some seriously psychedelic blood you are given in this game sometimes
A grappling hook isnt more advanced than a bow really though edit: well i guess it depends on how advanced it is.. i bet the game one is over-the-top

Really odd of them to not make a completely new heightmap. Maybe it saves more time than i can imagine it does, or they are under a tremendous time restraint. Worked on a indie game some years ago and we scrapped the entire map for a new, there wasn't too much placement done so it just took us a few days.
In a way it's kind of interesting though. Visiting the same area a few thousands years later in FC4 (though i bet more would have changed + its not really the same region hehe)

nice, so an OC'ed 970 should be able to get to that magical 60 fps minimums.
anyone paying money for this lazy full priced cash-in with a copypasta worldmap and supporting ubishit is part of the cancer of the industry and loses his/her privilege of complaining about any shit game ever released.
