Just ignore those random idiots that post troll videos in game threads.
Just looking at this thread i see that more >70% of the people writing here are enjoying the game.
And then you have a few people that didn't even play the game yet but want to spit their opinions out.

yes very smart like always. im very sorry.
just wanted to go to sleep but i rather log in again and rock some more in the DZ.
Also does anyone has a clear answer, what "Exotic Damage Reduction" is good for?
I googled a bit, but nobody seems to know for sure.
Just different speculations. Like combined reduction of burn/shock/bleed damage, or damage in PvP.

we lvl up to DZ lvl 30 before going completly 30. so i cant join the 30 DZ right now.
i guess we are done by tomorrow. you are welcome to join then of course. like always.
too bad you don't use mumble tho but it works without too (you can also just listen to our sexy voices if you want)
Wow, I'm so happy that I completely omitted this MMORPGFPS-whatever-the-fuck-it's-trying-to-be.
I saw that coming a mile away.
I was actually a click away from buying the gold edition and then realized i was only rushing to buy it for the pre-order bonuses.
After the last beta it already dawned on me that the retail game was gonna be nothing but a short story that you get through in 2-3 days and then and endless and pointless grind.
But let's not say that too loudly before freiwald's illusion gets shattered. gotta let someone like something if they need to like it.
i mean just imagine you'd been hyping yourself for months for one game and a lot of your life's happiness rode on that and then the day comes and people start hating it and even you yourself deep down know that it's not a great game at all, that is kind of depressing.
but if you just let yourself enjoy it a little longer and keep the illusion going then maybe you can pretend to be happy just for a bit longer.
i always wondered why people that enjoy the game so much spend so much time defending the game on the steam forums, reviews and on other places like here instead of playing it... hmm. a mystery.

The end game is a lacklaster, there is almost nothing to do than boring grinding of DZ mobs and dailies.
still mad that you got no money for the game?
almost nothing negative in here, even single player only fans like sabin like this game but you keep on going.
i mean it's no problem to point out negative things but it seems the only reason you are in this thread is because you can't afford it and feel left out so you have to post some bullshit.
this is bad, that is bad, this is bad too. how about you play the fucking game before you point out things you have no idea about
I've already finished the game, your pathetic reply does nothing more than to reveal your blindness.
The singleplayer campaign even if it has a decent story is not worth the full price and the multiplayer component is a joke at this point.
I'm on this thread to post the good and the bad not to lick the ass of a game and post retarded comments "like you can't afford this game" on a forum that is filled with warez posts...

actually i wasn't hyped and was sceptical before and after the beta.
but now it's fun. i don't give a fuck about the rest. it's fun and i will get out of it as much as i can. if it's dead in 3 months then be it. i got it for free and paid 20 for the season pass. it was worth it then.
and like i said it's ok to point negative thinks out but nodrim JUST post negative things like he wants it to flop like he wants it to be bad no matter what.
im not defending anyting. im just saying it's fun and nice
My negative posts are just a reaction to some overhyping stuff I see here. I posted a lot of positive things about the game including this article: http://thegameslashers.blogspot.ro/2016/02/tom-clancys-division-beta-impressions.html
but this doesn't mean I have to go on praising the game now and ignoring its many flaws. But you keep defending it, that will help this game become better...
Fun you can have with Star Wars Battlefront that doesn't mean it's a good game.

i got battlefront and i can tell you its beautiful but no fun at all.
like i said im not defending anything. i just stated that i got a hell of a good time like i never had for a very very long time. and it's not just me. all my rl friends play it and they al lgot the same amount of fun. so it's not just me.
i know endgame will maybe have some flaws but if they will work it out it will be great and if not it was still worth it until to that point.
I doubt many people here bought it for full price.
Personally the game is still rather nice, but i can see it starting to get boring in some days. IMO an original price of 40$ would be better than 60$.

So from what you say I understand that you didn't get to the end game yet you criticize me for complaining about the end game (?!?!?!), somebody who's already at that point where there isn't really much to do.

The same problem with Siege, but it's a 3D Ubisoft game so it has to be full price!
i finished all mission and im the DZ all day killing people and grinding gear. im just missing one level so i guess i can say i know what it looks like to you play the "endgame".
gta was done after a month and probably the same price... it was worth it.
titanfall was done for me after 2 months but it was worth it too.
some games are not meant for a long time. i hope its not the case in this game but even if it was worth it
The expected longevity of a game depends from genre to genre. They advertised The Division as an MMO yet it doesn't have the content to support that claim. In a few months probably will get better, but there isn't much to do and many of the players will abandon it before that. I like the game it has great visuals, a much better than I expected gameplay and a lot of potential, but it clearly came on the market too soon (and this is after two years of postpones). No dedicated PvP, a PvE wannabe PvP zone and repeatable missions ain't that great...
IMO the game has the potential to be good, but they really just didn't have enough at release. There needs to be more stuff to do in the dark zone, and more importantly IMO there shouldn't have been a stupid 'dark zone'.
The entire city is fucking infected and already filled with chaos. They really should have just made where the entire game map is basically the 'dark zone'. Basically give players the choice to play singleplayer/with friends OR be playing with people near your level all in the same instance in the city. They should have also made better use of the NPC factions and had a sort of territory control meta game going on between cleaners/rioters/feds and allow people to join the different factions.
It's a game that has a shitload of potential but is very flawed in execution. Luckily I paid nothing for the game so i'm not out money, but we're already getting bored with the game. They really just fucked up very simple things that other MMO style games have done right for years. The game is just very shallow. I'm sure the free updates will make it better, but by then people will have forgotten about it and moved on anyways.

The game had me kind of interested, even when it became clear that it was going to be more like an RPG than a FPS. My friend was quite hyped about this and was trying to get me to buy it and I was about to, until I played the beta and realized that this is definitely not for me.
Seeing those numbers pop up when shooting NPC's and PC's really put me off.
And now finding out that they even failed to bring some kind of end-game to the table just made me so happy I didn't let my friend talk me into buying this as it would have been money wasted on, IMO, dogshit.
Uh no, crazy that I like certain games, wow? What about you? Witcher 3 is shit btw -> Fanboy triggered? But it's no secret the Hump is starting to lose quality through people that really have nothing else to do than to go to threads of games they antagonise. Rarely, some of them are interesting and worth reading, in most cases they're just shitposts covered in a nice sauce.
@Nodrim People surely "overhyped" the game, by staying open minded and posting their >>>opinions<<<. Classy way of saying you don't really care what others say but your own shit. Sorry it's been happening so much in the past months you just got to be the one I speak this out to. But honestly, I don't give a fuck what person x thinks I should think, unless they spam the thread with it until it gets annoying.
People are whining, wtf do you expect from a game?
It's a good cover based shooter that is fun for 25-40 hours. Goed graphics, ok gunplay and you can hunt for loot. I'm having a lot more fun with this then with 90% of all the other open world spam the map with mission type of games.
Darkzone and raid are not perfect perhaps, but considering them extra the game is fine, also patches and dlc can fix this.
Much better than I thought it would be - and there's a lot more content and story detail than games like Destiny and Defiance had at launch. Most importantly, it's a solid foundation and it smells like a success - so it'll only grow from here.
Beyond that, I think the atmosphere is quite unique and gives the whole experience a strangely engaging and authentic vibe. I'm a big RPG player - so I don't fret over hit points and stats, even in a shooter. In fact, I embrace such things - and most enemies go down with a single headshot if you configure your gear for that purpose. Not bosses, obviously - but that's kinda the point of bosses. Certainly, I'll gladly sacrifice that kind of realism for longevity and phat l00t.
Perhaps the content bar is set too low by Destiny, Defiance and Firefall, but I feel like there's a few months worth of semi-casual play which is all I have time for.
Then again, I stopped expecting miracles when I became an adult and realised that miracles only happen when you're too young to see all the issues with that which you love.
This game has its share of faults, there's no denying that. But all things considered, it's a very entertaining and competent MMO cover shooter, more or less created for cooperative play. As in, it encourages a variety of roles and team work beyond merely coordinating a crossfire like other shooters.
Unlike games like Battlefield 4 and Siege - I feel like there's more to it than pure competition, which I've grown bored with as I've gotten older. But I still like shooting things and I love how there's just enough of that Tom Clancy tactical nuance to make me feel like I'm doing smart things on top.
4 days later, i'm lvl 27 and 12 DZ, thanks to awesome gameplay with quality people and still not bored. I still have plenty to upgrade wings, upgrade skills and get some uber weapons. I still enjoy this game for the great time i spent with the people in the game - like i said in beta, this type of fun makes me overlook the minuses the game has.

The singleplayer seems worth playing but defintely not worth $60, and not even $40.
I'll probably get it on 50% discount on the next winter sale or something.
https://www.reapershop.com/product/6733/ $23.73 I got it from there and it's well worth that price for singleplayer as that's how I play it, I actually paid $30 to get the gold edition from there.
Origin India has it for $26.86 for the standard edition if you don't want to use a "key seller".

Isn't Reapershop's version locked to India?

Not in Uplay. If you buy the India Steam version then it needs activating in Steam with a VPN but then you can set Steam offline and it doesn't care if your VPN is connected when launching. If you buy the Origin India version there's no region locking and no VPN requirement for adding into Uplay or launching.
This game is so beautiful playing at 4k, even more beautiful then Rise of the Tomb Raider which has very nice graphics as well. Most beautiful game i've seen so far ever, even better graphics then the Witcher 3 and much better game play. And that for 18 euros well playing in Russian but i don't care a lot tho, it's worth the money definitely.
