I just bought one last week.. Dammit if i knew there's a better PS4 comming i would have waited. Also happened to me when i bought my 360, i got a falcon one and after a few days i saw there's a better model. I just hope all games will be out for both PS4 and PS4.5, and no exclusives (well if it's VR crap then i don't care ).

At least with the 360 hardware changes the specs were the same.

I really don't like this idea of hardware revisions that change the spec, I buy a console to cover my gaming for a few years, if there are going to be hardware revisions all the time I will go back to yearly updates to me pc

I suspect it'll just be for VR games... And I will be buying immediately although going back to PC gaming is tempting, I don't have the place or the time to deal with it Space for rent. Contact me for rates!

Of course. Regular games will still be made with the original Playstation 4 in mind. Question is though, will the new one perform better on those.

This tech when PS4 was released would have upped the price by perhaps 50% so its understandable..

I don't mind it, actuallt i've always wondered why it doesnt happen in the console world, would have upgraded most of my consoles to get better FPS or even resolution.

This is a complete console, a new revision with faster components.
