I d like to thank u..PROBLEM WITH REBOOTIN IS NOW PAST..every one who got problem with rebootin computer..Mount image in Alcohol not deamon tools and then unpluged the IDE CABELS and powers..AND it works..thanks man..i owe u..lol

any1 got a the same problem with starting POPTT ?
DT4, unhooked dvdrom cables and I start the game, i get a black screen (not full screen) for about 1 second.. when I try it again, it asks me if i want to start the game in safe mode. Clicking yes or no, it doesn't matter, I get the black screen again ...
My system should be able to run this
Any1 got the same problem, how did you fix this ?

i have a crash when im playing the game and it reboots my system...i have everything plugged to my ata controller card exceptm my harddrive which is still hooked on my board...and i try playing the game then pow reboot?? hard crash.Asus P4-E-Deluxe motherboard
X850Xt pe graphics agp card
2gigs of pc3200 dual channel platinum sticks
Sp2 installed Windows Xp
runing 5.12 catalyst official drivers

Solved my own probleem. The burner and DVD drive where disabled in the device manager. Why I don't know.
Yesterday I bought the special edition (All 3 games in one package), so no more unpugging my cables. This game deserves to be bought

Mount the CD3 with DT4
Lauch StarFuck
Select StarForce 3.4.63.2
Press "CDs DEAKTIVIEREN"
Wait 5s
Lauch PoP and play

well i thread through the whole thread, and tried most of the good suggestions, DT4, SFNightmare. I tried a lot of different combinations with software emulation, what worked for me was:
Used DT4 (Full Emulations), Unplug power to DVD drive, click the icon and the game loaded fine.
thanks for the combinded help here. I would recommend unplugging (just the power connector) your CD/DVD drive first, when the computers off ofcourse, and see if that works.
I have 2 harddrives on Channel 1 and one DVD drive on Channel 2.
Mobo: Asus p4p800
CPU: P4 2.6C HT
RAM: 512 pc3200
Vid: ATI X800XL

when my system is checking SF key all freeze i´m using a raid controller
SCCT works great without disabling cd´s

No luck here
I disconnected my drives but same error, when the system is checking the SK key it freeze my system only a reset help
anyone with this problem
Installed the DVD and also the CD version but always the same problem

HI
I have here an pc with an chip nforce4 motherboard (asus a8n-sli) and an pc with an motherboard Asus p5gd1 and the game dont work
I have installed the game, reboot to install the starforce protection and then i start the game and put the serial but an error appear: insert the disc in another drive
I have tried to unplug the cd-rom cables but the it display the same error...
I have already tried starforce nightmare, but nothing...
I have tried to go to the regedit to hide the drive, but an error ocurred saying that cant change the drive name
PS: i have dvd version, emulated with DT4 with all options on

use sfclean and disable IDE channels in Bios if you have a sata hd.
