Is there anyone around here (still) at lvl 22-ish looking for an extra gun?
I could use some better equipment (found my first Superior item yesterday - pretty crappy one though) and/or DZ lvl, but the dark zones start to get more and more annoying when running around alone.
Just noticed that the equip with ilevel 31 will still show as lvl 30 drop in the DZ. But i still haven't found items with ilevel 32 so far. I'm pretty sure i read on the forums that some people got those.
Think I reached some anti-MMO-grind state. Whenever I hear about terms like gearscore, ilvl, epix, dungeon sets... I just... can't cope with those anymore.
Was hoping this game would be a bit more focused on the SP experience with story and shit. But, ofc, bring in the grinding that generate $$$...
Yeah, they focused on SP in a game that was never meant to be played alone or offline at all. That's like saying you bought Elder Scrolls Online only for it's Singleplayer.

you can play the game sp, and not care at all about any type of MMO grind at all. all of that is completely optional as part of end game and PvP, mostly PvP really, as the challenge mode is easily doable with ordinary purple drops and a bit of stat recombination at the base.
It's not about what it is, but about what some people would like it to be, harry.
It doesn't mean also that it's bad, good or something in between. It's just down to each player's preference. I was planning to buy it, but the second beta convinced me that the focus is indeed on the MMO aspect of the game. And that's a big no for me.
EDIT
I found the world they build to be simply amazing in terms of visual and even immersion. But it became very clear very fast that this won't offer that much satisfaction to someone who expects a single player open world game type.
They build a fantastic world and filled it with typical MMO gameplay fillers. No lore, nothing based on infection, nothing we haven't seen before, nothing that would make you RELATE or get INVOLVED with the world and it's inhabitants. Just... shoot and loot.

To be quite honest, that's just not how it is. The game never advertised to be a story heavy or single player focused game at any point of the development, I just find it hard to see why most people use this as an argument when it's obviously not. There's lots of other things that would be more accurate or valid to be criticised, but definitely not that the game isn't what some people expected it to be, that's just standards some of you set yourself too high and now you're disappointed about it.
I mean, do I complain about the lack of an open world in a corridor game? Or how you can't drive cars in Witcher 3? Or Fallout 4 being more of a shooter than an actual RPG? I could go on, but you get the idea, no offense though. There's quite a bunch of users here that knew what would come, and they like it, because they had a clear idea of what they were going to play. Now I don't know what made you guys believe what you thought the game is going to be, even though most of you followed the game and it's gameplay.

I personally found myself collecting a lot of the audio and written logs, not for completion sake, but because it added some great lore.
but yes, the game does constantly remind you it's a loot shooter.
hello i know you can convert blue materials into high end ones

I did not EXPECT or DEMAND for it to be something that "I" want, despite of what it has been advertised. That's pretty dumb, inni?! Especially when some AAA company is in "charge"...
I was/am expressing the will to play something in the lines that I've described in previously posts. I am impressed by the engine and I think that an (SP) open world game being made into it would have a great potential to be successful.
I also think that they will invest into SP because it's a natural trend nowadays (mentioned it before - even Blizzard does it with WoW). But still, it won't be enough to gain enough depth to turn it into some exceptional single player experience. This game is a MP/MMO at heart, and you can see it in almost every aspect of it.
And you need about 150 phoenix credits, which can take a while if you've not been exploiting. Finally got that blueprint and feel like I'm making some progress
Guys, we definitely need to team up with 5-8 people and just rock through the challenging Lincoln mission to get everyone geared up Would be fun until they fix this.
