					| SVCD might be twice the download, but it's also of a much higher quality than KVCD.
As for release quantity, usually major theater releases get a cam 24 hours to a week after release, and an SVCD 1-2 weeks after that. KVCD has been a vast minority of my downloads, mostly because I opt for SVCD where possible.

Quality wise, I'd compare KVCD with VHS and SVCD with DVD.

As for "the scene is dead" claim, http://www.vcdquality.com/index.php?genre=2

					| no offense, but i have been in the SVCD scene for 6 years now, and true, SVCD is declining.
Why? Because it is the same codec as DVDR. Only with a lower bitrate, so everybody switched to DVDR. But for TS/TC SVCD is still NR1.

Have you ever seen a KVCD release on nforce?

Yeah, SVCD releases are not as popular, but there are still tons. Not everyone has a DVD burner right and u want good quality, so you go 2 cd (or more) SVCD

					| Well skvcd and kvcd is different then normal vcd and svcd right?
You also have xvcd and xsvcd.

I don't think english groups use kvcd or skvcd, or at least have never seen them.
