Microsoft has completely and utterly lost the fucking plot.. they're charging 652NOK on the Win10 store. For a PC game. 652NOK is £54, or $80.

£54.

$80.

its clearly that microsoft wanted them to make a cross media tvshow and gameplay because thats what xbox one was all about at launch, wanting more of an entertainment console ranther than a gaming one but this game is released a bit too late just like the division

and if you judge a game because it dosent have a quit button or whatever technical reason then youre just fucking stupid. those things you can easly fix but in game story, direction, level designs or game mechanics you cannot. these are the things you should worried about

Either the people in charge at MS got even more retarded now.
Or they know that not many people are interested in the game on PC. So they might as well crank up the price for the interested peopl.e

ie; the streetunders and stefan7s of the world Laughing Hey! Let's create a list of "original!" things Quantum Break has brought to the table, shall we?

*No exit button. Now that's definitely original.
*Forced to stream 75GB of high-quality 4K video from online-only. Smell that originality.
*$80 price tag because Reasons©. Mmmm, I love the smell of originality in the morning.
*Wallhacks (cough.. sorry.. "Time View") now we're slowly losing originality Sad
*Bullet time, because it's Remedy and they have to put that in all their games Laughing

Anyone wanna add some more? Laughing

Pffchh

We might add some more to the list, if we get an isodemo for this.

Something tells me, the boys of 3DM/ALI will be working on this.

You didn't know? Laughing Yup, you *have* to stream the live action TV series (you know, half the game, half the primary selling point) as you cannot download or install it.

On PC.

Xbox One users can choose to install the series locally.

Not PC though.

Because Reasons©

UWP, online-only DRM (if you want the full story - there is, supposedly, an "offline" mode for the game), bullshit system requirements, laughably unrealistic price tag.

Laughing

Oh man, still watching Cohh's stream, pretty entertaining to see how fucked up this game is, haha. Crashes to desktop out of nowhere at random, with no errors seems to be a thing too. Also... "Content buffering, please wait..." during the live action videos, haha. They actually run worse than the game.

As for the game itself, it seems to be very much a Max Payne 3 with time powers, which is not necessarily bad. The game just seems to be somewhat average, neither good or bad.

It's a real shame it took this long for a game with this theme to be made again, only for it to be a waste. Timeshift still does this way better, after so many years.

I watched a stream of it, the streaming live action part is retarded, fps was even under the 24 cinematic experience, it kept buffering half of the time, i guess thats how they make games longer now, just add some buffering and you get a game of 20 hours long.

has anyone seen those screenshots over at neogaf? Looks like the game is not rendered in native resolution but being upscaled. Add this to the list of original things!
