Buy an XBONE copy, they come with free Win10 serials, or look on eBay for someone selling THEIR free serial.

Still, I'd be remiss if I didn't ask; "why????" Has either MS or Remedy done anything with this game that would warrant your support? By all accounts it looks poor, runs poor, requires ball-shrivellingly powerful hardware, is locked into MS's bullshit walled garden and has the most intrusively offensive "non" DRM imaginable... in a streaming-only lockout of the game's primary story episodes that only affects the PC version.

I.. I don't get why anyone would, at this point in time, willingly purchase the PC version of the game :\ I mean, sure, if you could find a copy for a tenner go for it, shelve the fucking thing until Remedy pulls their thumbs out of their arses and actually fixes the game, but egh...

Going over the thread over at NeoCuck, someone asked for a refund and they(customer support) wanted to remote access his PC to make sure the game was no longer installed. Laughing

Apparently, unlike Steam and Origin, that process isn't part of the software, and has to be done manually.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Wow so many years spend creating xbox live, so many years having abomination called GfWL and at the same time having 3 competitors with pretty much set standard for what such store should have. They still manages to fuck it so much that its even worse than the "good old" green launchday steam

All of this is such a fucking shame, I'd really like to play the game if only for the story but I'm not going to pay for all of this bullshit going on. I really don't get developers nowadays, it's like they don't want people to buy their games.

Most people don't know anything about these problems, sadly.

Since it's connected to a TV I guess the console version has it's share of bugs too.

Wtf is this? Why did they choose Shawn Ashmore (had too Google his name) as the main character? I mean, there is like thousands of other actors they could go with, but why they have chosen him is beyond my understanding. Very Happy

Supposedly MS delivers the Win10 code in within 7-10 days via the XBL message system. I think it may only be for preorders though, to be honest.

~edit~

http://www.pcgamer.com/quantum-break-review/

Despite panning the game for being a mediocre shooter with abysmal performance and technical issues, they still gave it 70/100. Because Reasons©.

The review reads like a "play and forget" game, so 7/10 seems to be spot on.

Couldn't be bothered to read the whole review.

Last section titled "Quantum broke". With this as the last sentence:
Quote:
Remedy fundamentally knows how to make an exciting action game, and Quantum Break has its moments. But they’re overshadowed by dumb platforming, uninspiring enemy design, and a lacklustre PC port.

How does this read like a "play and forget" title? This reads like "badly made play and forget title"

Perhaps 7/10 may be fine if one somehow ignores the technical flaws and tries to the rate the theoretical game behind that... which would be stupid, but wouldn't be the first time I've heard of such a line of thinking

Exactly. I have no trouble believing this may well be a 7/10 title on XBONE, but on PC? Shipped in this shocking state? It's not deserving of anywhere near a 7.
