i would enjoy it but that fucking app wont see my two pc gamepads and brilliantly they only mapped arrow keys and enter/escape key which only allowed me to enter the game, create the character and...swap some fucking items standing in place Very Happy

its even more puzzling because when you move your mouse at the bottom of the screen there are 3 virtual, on-screen ps4 buttons wich regular gamepads dont have - share, PS button and options button, either way tried everything and logitech wireless pad and some generic usb pad didnt work, despite both being seen in windows and buttons were working in control panel

these videos are awesome.
at times i felt bad for her, knowing whats about to come around the corner, but she really analyzes everything logically and explores as much as she can, even finds out mechanics on her own that most people wouldnt without a faq.
its really fun to see her get half a heart attack as the dragon swoops down, successfully backstab an enemy by accident and wonder about what happened or dance happilly around the first bonfire in undead burg. Laughing

Nope. Sad 1 day and 1 hours more.
(steamdb counts to the date alone. In some countries it'll be 11th when game is released. Monday April 11th at 3:00 PM PDT (UTC -7))

Cant get rid of the feeling like shes pretending most of the stuff just to get the attention (which she got from the kotaku article, or was if other site that wrote about her). They described her as getting the following with her gameplay but most of her videos are round 5k views. Looks like another "nerdy girl playing video games" aka trying to get some youtubefame.

I'm not at japan right now I'm in ********** but as I'm a Japanese bastard, my view on my people they play on many consoles and platforms, but they play a lot on PC's yes they mostly wait for the PC version, cause if you search for Dark Souls 3 Japanese walkthrough you will not find much cause most of them play it on PC.

I personally played it on PS4, but I'm waiting for the PC edition.

What? She got most of her "attention" from the massive NeoGaf thread on her, not from a Kotaku article. I find her series duller than dishwater and prefer my playthroughs the Jeff Green style (blunder to success), but "attention whore" is the absolute LAST label I would put on her series.

Finished watching the "Speed Souls" run of Dark Souls 1 with all bosses, guess I know now why they've successively scaled back magic effectiveness for this series. Razz

Pretty cool though to see these bosses going down in a few seconds though the author used a lot of exploits as well but the rule seems to be that if it's possible in-game then it's allowed.

EDIT: Actually I think there might be a video already for Dark Souls 3, might give it a watch after having finished the game myself to see what they've done to speedrun this game.
(The BloodBorne speedrun without all the bosses is like 22 minutes long, didn't expect it to be that fast.)

Heh yeah I suppose you're right, one of the first speedruns I watched was a 7 minute long run of Morrowind using the games pretty poorly balanced alchemy and spell crafting systems to just cruise through the game. Very Happy

Almost a bit impressive the things these speedrunners manage to find and exploit to finish games way quicker than intended though I guess it also takes a lot of practice as it only takes one mistake to ruin a run.


EDIT: As for Dark Souls 3 so it's confirmed now that the Steam version unlocks via a single global unlock time then? Ah well, no early VPN access tomorrow afternoon then. Razz
