it's the same like with movies these days. every seen a making of?
"i never had this much fun on a set ever" "it is the best movie i have ever made" "i never worked with such a fantastic crew" and so on. they got paid. not only for making the movie/game but also for saying shit like this. they got no other option then this.
i know its wrong and all but that is the world we live in. no need to close they eyes and sing tralalalala

actors, directors, producers. they all talk this stuff in the making of's. it's not only actors. i also don't want to go offtopic here. just saying... don't be suprised or act like it's something new or whatever. it's common in the whole "media scene"

Ok. Tried it. Game is a fucking slide show (2560x1440).. Looks like crap. Totally unplayable. Even tried at low.
This must surely be a joke?? How can they even sell this crap? Fucking criminals.

Read again. Actors, Directors, Producers =/ Developers.
Don't need to tell me about this, I know, duh. What I said is that "this stuff" makes no sense for the Developers at all. Lying to the players only ends up worse, so barely anyone does that.

as shitty as this game looks, the hardware requirements are utterly insane. Runs like crap even in 1080p, everything at low. 1440p is unplayable. ROTTR runs smooth in 4k on my pc and looks waaaaaay better compared to this mess

Doesn't this game have a framerate problem where it can't ever run at the same fps as the monitor refresh rate?
e.g. 53fps @ 60hz or 67fps @ 75hz..that would cause judder throughout the whole experience™. It's by far the worst of all mentioned issues this game has.

It runs at a maximum of 5/6 of the monitors refresh rate. So max 50fps for 60hz and so on.

Wow, now I'm not sure if I even want to try it.. I got it waiting on my harddrive but all these fricking issues... Is it enjoyable? Playable? Can you even get steady 60+ FPS?

I really like the game despite the issues. However, the issues with the framerate being 5/6 of refresh rate and the resolution problem are def real. The perf is meh but not too bad on a 970 with ULTRA preset (cant tell exactly though due to no monitoring software seeming to work). Dropping some settings leads to a more consistent FPS though. The graphics are nice though in my opinion.
Gameplay is pretty good 3rd person shooter stuff though that urges you to move around and use your abilities. Storytelling and what not is nice but since I have not really made it to any of the probable mid to late game reveals and twists the overall story might turn out great or horrible. I think the actors are doing a fine job though.
The live show part I'm not a big fan of. The stream was stuttery and the first episode was too long. I'm here to play a game not watch a show. Otherwise it was allright and tied into the game but I don't really see how it benefits the game.
Anyway, if you already grabbed the game I suggest you use the workaround and play it. It's not that difficult.
