but you wont get many references if you play 3 now if you havent played the other games (even console exclusives demon souls and bloodborne).
though it shouldnt be a problem cause of what ixi said, and even people who played all souls games would not get all references in the world, they are put into it very sublimal (and arent important for the game itself)

Whoever said that this is easier than Dark Souls or DS2 xD
I was the first one in my friendlist to play this (unpacked in 5 mins) and yet paxsali was much further than I was after just 15 minutes or so...

Started as deprived, everything went well, thought that the club was a good starter weapon again.. but that damn "shield" ...
Anyway, Iudex Gundyr fucked me like 10-12 times, I had him down to 10% 3 times but just no estus left and I missed the chance to chip away 1/3 of his health when I first encountered him during his initial animation...
So after 45 minutes I restarted with a warrior class and boy, that battle axe does a lot of damage and the fucking shield actually reduces taken damage!

To me it feels like Bloodborne with shields due to your character feeling like he weighs about 2 grams.
Gonna take a while to get used to the weightless feel of everything since I played Dark Souls 2 a bit over the last few days..

think thats comparable to humanity. if you use ember you go into cinder mode and you loose that when you die. when in cindermode you have small hp boost and are able to summon other players into your world. the icon in the left upper corner changes according to the mode you are into (as well as your clothes)

I crashed there twice. I also crashed later in the game in a different area.

Really nice little touch.
Loving it so far. Feels alot more like Dark Souls than the second one for me.

Boss was a bit problematic for me but the naked fucker a bit later was worse.

But now I have a Uchigatana, with worse stats all around than my starting weapon...
...Or the crystal thing, but hey, titanite scale for, well, something.
