Not sure if its what he meant but the world boss exploit that was happenin for a few days was patched in mediah, they also didnt enable enhancements above +15 yet(although they did this on maintance after the exp patch on korea too so might happen next week). added a craftable version of the flare/anti ghillie suit item
Still enjoying this alot, its a great mmo and certainly (one of the) most interesting on the market today(this says more about the bare state of the genre than it does about the game though). The only thing utterly bullshit is the damn pet breeding system, while they are only marginal increases the way of attaining these is beyond abysmal. a simple bandaid fix would be to introduce pet skill rerolls via a cheap loyalty item.
Its going to be interesting to see how the GvG turns out, the pvp ive had so far was pretty decent albeit riddled with pot spam. as for the lack of a hardcap im still undecided, the difference between a 55 and 50 is too big I feel(although a large part of this is gear) The grinding required to get to 52+ however is pretty small compared to the games from the golden era (97-02)
It's quite addicting.
Played since the weekend before the last one.
I'm started really enjoying my Valkyrie when I learned about shield throw
At level 40, I already finished the level 49 Black spirit quests (had to kill some wizard boss which summoned a lot of elite helpers etc). And now I'm grinding the Catfish to hit 50. I'm getting around 100 spell powders every ~5 minutes -> cashwise this is pretty cool also. (and I linked all the nodes so I can sell the pouches for over 9k each).
Could not imagine grinding there without a wagon, or having spent money / time to train carry weight. (I can carry around 700 ?kg?).
anyway, back to work, and to wait for the evening :/
By the way, performance wise this game degraded a lot when I hit one of the bigger cities... I was at totally constant 60 fps, but now even when lowering my resolution to 1080, I'm fluctuating a little in the city (all maxed out, high end mode disabled).
At the starting areas, I could even play with the high end mode on and be at comfortable 40+ most of the time (at the native reso of my screen, which I always forget)

You can swap any costume or armor even from unreleased classes, costumes can be mixed and matched between classes with the same body type however you like (only tamer and ranger are an exception they can only use their own costumes and armor cause they have a different body type, the male classes as well obviously) there are a lot of costumes and armors in the gamefiles per class most unreleased here officially, even the beta outfits are there which where only shown in trailers and never released anywhere. This is client side only and obviously against the TOS i doubt they can detect it since you mod the gamefiles directly and there are no third party tools running, there are a lot of other mods on that site as well most are totally NSFW!

Indeed, and I'm glad if the game is great to others.
I haven't been truly excited about an MMO in a very long time. ESO came relatively close, but for some reason I can't quite get into it as much as I thought I would.
Now now, I know you like the game (it's okay to be critical about the bad shit in the stuff you love)... but to some extent it does tell you a story about a game or a dev. It does create a loss in potential customers but sadly it is accepted by the majority as something that will always be there.
Shitty world design/game balance is at the base of the problem... but eh "MMO's are hard to develop" so everybody gets away with it.
Yeah and Gold spammers have basically given up since they introduced them last patch, it's pretty much the perfect solution against them i wish every mmo would have something like this.
the spamfilter is really great, the goldsellers are trying to obfuscate the links so hilariously, i had my first spam since 3 days today and just updated the filter.
I stopped watching as soon as I saw all these "buyCheapGOLD.com" spammed in the chat.
MMOs are definitely lost for good
Maybe I wasn't clear enough, or my English is such bad but ...
what I meant wasn't about chat spams from Gold sellers, but the fact you CAN buy gold from such sellers and the gameplay balance issue coming along that.

The thing is you can't buy gold there is no direct trading or any other means to trade gold in this game even the market place is regulated,i repeat there is no way to buy gold they closed every loophole that could make it possible, those sellers can on only offer the most basic stuff like power lvling in this game apart from that it's the least affected MMO ever and with the chat filter they got rid of the spam as well it's probably the first MMO that won against the Gold sellers.
I still can't decide if I want to try this. For those who have, is it still fun?
I watched a guy show his daily quest route .... he spent 30min carrying beer kegs & cleaning chimneys. I'd like to try something that breaks the WoW mould, but ... chimneys?
Is there enough content to justify $40 that doesn't involve milking cows?
Yeah a shit ton just got a new zone and there will be 2 new classes next week, dunno about those daily's that's something you can do if you like i've been lvl 50+ on 2 chars for a while now and i didn't do any of that so far.

There are plenty of different kinda daily quests. The quests you saw are just simple quests to gain either some contribution or energy. In all my time playing i only did these rarely.
There are daily quests for any type of player, you got fishing/alchemy/cooking/gathering/processing/energy/contribution/combat daily missions and probably some more that i forgot.
When you reach level 50 you also get black spirit daily's, these contain all out of combat quests and earn you good upgrades and boss scrolls.
But thats just the daily quests part. You will find 1000's of quests you can only complete once.
wow this game is on page 6, sure went quiet for those sticking up for it. The hacks are so out of control now with everything being client side, how is everbody doing that are still playing it?
This guy hacked, got caught and had both of his accounts banned... and then in a remarkable display of clueless narcissism he posted a video trying to portray himself as Robin Hood and took the video down when he didn't get the sympathy he was looking for but not before someone made a copy of it.

If he genuinely wanted to quit, hacking/cheating is a good way to go. You at least ensure you don't have access to the characters in case you'd be tempted to return. It's also fun to see and use variety of hacks before you end up banned. I did the same back when I was playing World of Warcraft. I wouldn't blame him if he was fed up with the game and decided to quit and as long as he used it for PvE and not to kill other players..
