Abyss Watchers might be the easiest non-tutorial boss fight in any Souls game. Did it on my first try completely blind.
Whoever thought it was a good idea to let you stunlock a boss isn't very bright.

The game feels a bit weird for strength class.
None of the ultra greatswords is as astrong as before. Actually I am playing with zweihander since it seems like one of best ultra greatsworda and its charged thrust attack is saving this category for me. The range on that r2 attack!

Try the Dark Sword:
Moveset and strength of a heavy weapon, but attacks as fast a longsword.

Anyone help me out? just been to dragonspeak and done all the stuff there. I am back at fireshrine and I have put all the ashes I have onto the thrones (like the wikia says) but I dont have the one that fills "holy king lothric" throne, Have I missed a cinder lord?

Go back to Lothric, actually you should have been sent there automatically.

Unless you killed her already then when you kill the third lord of cinder you get teleported to the cathedral with the old cleric and you "get" a item from her, use that on the shrine there to advance into the castle lothric area and ultimately the last lord cinder.

EDIT: Ah you must have gone down to the optional area and missed the actual castle.

Since you went to the peaks you've already done that part with the cleric and all that so just advance into the church instead of out the side door and go through castle lothric and further into the royal archives or what they were called.

I edited my post a bit, go to.

The cathedral where outside you beat the Boreal boss and then in said cathedral again go up the ladder and then straight into the church this time and you should eventually find a path through it and into the actual castle area instead of taking the elevator down to the optional garden area where you got the dragon gesture to go to the peaks.
(Going up instead of down basically.)

Did you play with your swap file size by any chance? |
Not lately, that I know of anyway, it's at 8 gigs. But now that you mention it, the pagefile is still on my HDD,I should move it to the SSD...

Ah I have already killed the dragon armour and the prince. (Just went up like you said and went through the castle, mind you I finally took care of the dragons)

That's been reported a few times too, killing the boss but not getting the Lord Cinder from it so you can't progress.
I do not know what triggers this though but it's something From will have to fix asap if it's becoming a common occurance.
You should get both the boss soul and the lord cinder after that fight as with the other cinder lord bosses but some players report only getting the boss soul and others report getting nothing at all.
EDIT: Oh and just to cover absolutely everything if you have used a CE table or trainer then you should also know that item discovery edits from these have been known to mess up item drops but as I said I've seen this particular issue mentioned a few times now so it's probably a game bug.
(The earlier methods in particular could really break things where you did get loot from kills 100% of the time but you did not get any set item drops - such as when killing a NPC invader. - or even items placed in the world on corpses and such.)

Bugger I guess I will have to wait for a patch or something then, dont really want to start again.

Either that was a really bad connection or the first cheater I've found.
Hit him with everything in the book, no damage but he could damage me just fine. Ran away to hang out with the black knight until I saw that he was putting out the fires. Chased him again down there, we jumped around a bit and then there was a connection error.
Rapiers and Dark Sword feel a bit OP, but not impossible with a bit of parrying.

Atm I use falchion and rapier(it's pretty good stunlocking these Anor Londo knights), both chaos infused. |
Atm using Raw Astora's Straight Sword on my Pyro it has very low stat requirements and a nice moveset, hit's like a truck i think it's one of the best caster weapons in this game.

It's Vitality. I currently have it at 18.
Let's me equip 2 weapons + shield, and the Undead Legion / Fallen Knight armor pieces together.
And what C.MAC wrote with the 70%.
