Ah well, Mafia 2 had its moments. I still remember when you got out of jail and it was the 50s, women on the streets in those colourful skirts, high heels, rock'n'roll on the radio... that was a great moment.
And that one car ride where you have to burry a body with your two drunk friends, their conversation and drunk singing was hilarious.
I don't remember anything else though... so, meh. From Mafia 1 a ton of scenes are still in my head, such a great game. Always wanted to replay it, never did.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
I'm curious about what role Vito will play in the grand scheme of things
They touch on it briefly in Pru's post above, "5 Ways...." Vito apparently joins you, along with Irish and Haitian gangs, since he's fallen out of favour with the Bourdeux don.
Of course
And the Ken-Block-like drifting-based "driving" model, giant markers, and Uncharted/nuTombRaider-like approximative cover-based gunplay with auto-contexual knockdows a-ka "one-button-to rule-'em-all"
It's the typical AAA game alright, Mafia Dudebro edition
The visuals are good (or so it appears), but there's no magic anymore from what I can see, it's all noisy and in-yo-face..it's a shame that they're going with the Mafia name instead of proposing it as a new IP. Would have made much more sense, but then again they're pushing dat brand.

Interesting, thanks for the info. I hope he gets a satisfying conclusion to his arc and some comeuppance for Joe.
Well ... why not. I like the setting - both South and late 60s. Graphics is surprisingly bad - facial animations especially. And also the lack of artistic style. We'll see about actual gameplay...
First Mafia is very special game for me. I played it countless times. On the other hand I don't put it on pedestal. It was work of unexperienced team, story was blatant ripoff of gangster classics (Goodfellas and others) and it had countless of game design issues. But it still worked out well together. Second one was one big missed opportunity with few great moments.
wow there is now even mention of season pass on steampage
Seems like even the shell of 2K Czech is not even mentioned now ...
I guess who hasnt moved to Hangar 13 is in Warhorse now
