Over the last few months we received a lot of questions about The Settlers: Kingdoms of Anteria.
Today, we have an important announcement to make.
When we ended the Closed Beta of The Settlers: Kingdoms of Anteria in January 2015 we received a lot of feedback, and we want to thank all those of you who shared these valuable insights with us. We took time to read through comments from different sources, such as social media, forums, emails, and preview articles. We also took time to reflect on our ambitions for the project and where we wanted to head with it.
After much discussion, we made the decision to steer this project in a new direction, meaning The Settlers: Kingdoms of Anteria as you know it, no longer exists. However, we are excited to announce that we have been working hard to create a new game, a challenging Real Time Strategy experience that we are revealing to you today, Champions of Anteria. To be clear, the game isn’t part of The Settlers series, but a new adventure that will further explore the lands of Anteria.
http://www.championsofanteria.com/ Champions of Anteria is a tactical RTS with Active-Pause-Mode in which you can fight with three of five Champions in diverse and challenging battles. Each Champion is aligned to a magical element, and players must strategically choose the powers they bring into a battle, as interactions between affinities constitute a very important part of the gameplay. Champions of Anteria features a completely new narrative and adventure for players to enjoy. With a renewed focus on story, the economic and logistic features are revised and are handled via a homebase management system where you can craft items for your Champions and unlock new abilities.
For those who are wondering about the classic The Settlers series, rest assured that The Settlers is well alive and kicking!

Greenland Dungeons DLC: plunge into the Broken Crown prison taken over by gigantic repulsive spiders and learn more about Vargus's storyline. A new building – the Foundry of Affinities - will be unlocked when you finish this quest.
Desert Dungeons DLC: explore a Djinn protected cave filled with treasures and learn more about Nusala’s and Baltasar’s reasons to fight. A new Champion will join your group when completing this quest, Weissle, the Alchemist.
Northland Dungeons DLC: find out why Frostbeard people are being turned into Demons in this mystical and mysterious adventure quest and unravel Anslems’s and Oona’s past. A new Champion will join your group when completing this quest, Tarn, the Beastmaster.
yeah looks like ripping it apart from settlers franchise was a good choice .. as this previews makes it look much better than it looked from the older footage .. so will remain cautioisly optimistic

FOR FURTHER INFORMATION, PLEASE VISIT THE WEBSITE OF THE DRM SOFTWARE OR OF THE ANTI-TAMPER TECHNOLOGY. AN INTERNET CONNECTION, A UPLAY ACCOUNT AND INSTALLATION OF THE UPLAY CLIENT SOFTWARE (WWW.UPLAY.COM) AND REGISTRATION WITH ENCLOSED SINGLE-USE SERIAL CODE ARE REQUIRED TO ACTIVATE THE GAME AFTER INSTALLATION ON ANY NEW COMPUTER, AUTHENTICATE YOUR COMPUTER AT ANY GIVEN TIME, ACCESS ONLINE FEATURES, PLAY OR UNLOCK EXCLUSIVE CONTENT. yeah, its ubisoft. Everything by them is denuvo from now on, theres no need to fish for info or hope otherwise. When they patched denuvo into Anno 2205 with a DLC it was pretty clear they're in this for good. So two ubisoft games in august, F1 2016, Abzu and Deus Ex denuvoed in a single month. Every month left in the year will look like this, either denuvo or win 10 store

Crap game or not. The fact its ubiplay DRM cracked and Far cry next its still huge blow to Denuvo,and we are still seen Denuvo games scene releases every 1-2 weeks now,Denuvo is losing its "efficiently".
