I will not be able to help myself if the closed beta is cracked,

who knows maybe the denuvo wont be implemented just yet? we can hope...

And yeah I read in a preview you can customize runner vision as you could in the first game (would be dumb if they removed that option considering how obnoxious the current runner vision is.)

Guys I don't want to make you sad, but from a long time it's known that the game will use Denuvo.

Denuvo EULA

The beta don't need Denuvo, because it will be pretty different from the last release anyways.

Requirements: http://www.mirrorsedge.com/news/pc-system-requirements

Quote:
MINIMUM:

OS: Windows® 7 64-Bit (use the latest Service Pack)
CPU: Intel i3-3250 / AMD FX-6350. (Note: Mirror's Edge Catalyst requires at least 4 logical cores to run.)
RAM: 6 GB
HARD DRIVE: At least 25 GB of free space
VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 650 Ti 2GB or better / AMD Radeon™ R9 270x or better
INPUT: Keyboard and mouse, dual analog controller

RECOMMENDED:

OS: Windows® 10 64-Bit (use the latest Service Pack)
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 at 3.4 GHz / AMD FX-8350 at 4.0 GHz
RAM: 16 GB
HARD DRIVE: At least 25 GB of free space
VIDEO: NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 970 4GB or better / AMD Radeon™ R9 280x 3GB or better
INPUT: Keyboard and mouse, dual analog controller

Nvidia benchmarked the entire game and found that a 970 can hold 60 fps (on average, they didn't say at minimum) on "High", 1080p. For 1440p they recommend the 980 Ti http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/mirrors-edge-catalyst-nvidia-geforce-gtx-970-recommended

How high is "High" I have no idea.

think the beta offers a few main missions and sidemissions. so yes it must be more open world than the first one (which isnt hard to achieve though). kinda tempted, origin mx price is? 30 euros?

will wait for reviews and decide after that (or maybe some scene group already fucked the big d in the butt and is just waiting for a new major release to bring out that + old never cracked games)

Not really, they say in the video that it's somewhat more sandbox, but there's still a path that you follow. "you can't point to a building and say i want to go there" - direct quote from the video.

I think it looks really uninspring and boring. A game like this needs interesting environments, it looks like takes place in a super sterile bath house with lots of neon.

Delayed again becauses of Social nonsence
Quote:
Hello everyone,
As you know, we’re about to open the gates to the city of Glass for participants of the Closed Beta. One of the key features of the Beta and the full game is Social Play, detailed in our latest developer diary.

Taking on Dashes designed by DICE, creating your own Time Trials, climbing the Leaderboards, and connecting with your Runner friends are some of the Social Play features we’re really excited about – and something we want to play flawlessly.

To support the Social Play features, we are using a brand new online technology. We also want to make sure we have the opportunity and time to address player feedback from the Closed Beta. That is why we will give ourselves a bit more time to perfect the game, with a new release date for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst of June 7th (NA) and June 9th (EU). We’re confident that these extra two weeks will make sure the game is as amazing as possible for you the players.

Thank you all for your continued support and excitement for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst. The return of Faith is imminent.

That's the kind of thing you ship a patch for, you don't delay the whole game!

That's if it's just an addition, which I'm not actually convinced it is any longer. I think and believe that this is going to be like NFS.. another online-only game because of "social" aspects. If those are currently broken, the game cannot be shipped, thus the delay.

Denuvo *and* online-only. >_>

Maybe not trash but... this coupled with the latest (dumb) developments make me glad I don't particularly care about this game, and have zero faith (huehuehue Laughing) in DicEA.
