That's only 3 days after i ordered. Did you get a verified April shipping date?
I got 1 email saying:

Please ensure that you've got the funds available in your debit or credit account.
If you forgot which card you used, or if you forgot how much your order total is, refer to your Order Confirmation Email.
We recommend that you call your bank or credit card company and let them know that you're expecting a charge from DRI*HTC CORPORATION, and that you approve. |
Then nothing after that, no payment notification. Just a shipping notice from DHL, not even one from HTC.

For me it was about a week before it shipped. Then 24 hours (well, 48 for me since it was picked up on a saturday) afterward I got my bundle code in email. My vive will be here tomorrow. I'll be at work so we'll see how that goes.

My cc has only just been charged and I received my Vive on Saturday.
Very quick thoughts after just 2 hours use.
1) setup
Wires, break box, lighthouses, power supplies, power supply cables not long enough, extension lead needed for 1 lighthouse because of this, drilling walls, wires running down the walls.
Lighthouse are noisy little fuckers, gently whirring infront and behind. Irrelevant once you have headphones or sound on.
2) headset
Damnit this thing is heavy, it is the first thing I noticed and was the first thing commented on by the other 2 users that tried it. The 3 wires are also thick and heavy. Once in the experience this is almost forgotten but does pull you out of the experience now and again. To be fair the headset is quite comfortable and for me let's no light in at all, which is a goodles thing.
3) experience
Holy shit!! The controllers are the game Changers people are saying they are.
It has to be experienced to appreciate how it feels to see your hands in game and to be able to manipulate objects. Simply fucking Awesome.
No time for more sorry I have to go to work.
One thing.. room scale. I was unable to use it, my room failed to meet the min space and I was unable to play job simulator because of this.
Bottom line for me, I will be selling the vive on this week as it is overly complicated messy setup for something I can't use.
If I had the room? Hell yes I would keep it!

One thing that is still very much present for me and that is the SDE.
It was the very first thing that i saw in the setup tutorial. Perhaps i'm sensitive to it? I certainly don't look for it but it is there ever present for me.
I was worried about this 'sweet spot' everyone mentioned and don't look with your eyes as of center is blurry. I experience non of this, simply move the headset up or down to find focus and that's it.
Jippy you are going to be smiling your head off with that space mate! My wife tried TheBlu last night and was giggling and laughing like a school girl. The jellyfish moment was utterly awesome.

Damn it, just found an email in my inbox dating from last wednesday stating they failed to charge my card. Will contact my bank, I just hope they didn't cancel my order in the meantime.
Grale, did you or will you check out some racing or flight sim? Elite Dangerous? Most of all I am looking forward to playing DCS, ED, Dirt Rally, Assetto Corsa and the likes with the Vive but I don't know if smaller text or cockpit gauges will be readable. The experience I had with the DK2 was great, even though the software was a buggy mess. I hope the higher resolution will make for an even greater experience.

Hey OrignalSpaceJockey, did you get your Vive yet?
If yes, what titles you recommend trying out? Have to use room scale.
I guess i could just try everything and refund it on steam, but might aswell start with the good ones.

I've been predownloading some vr Porn to "experiment obviously" I've grabebd some czech videos and some naughty america ones in ultra hd quality. But the focals are circular as it was designed for Rift and not Vive... does it still work or do the videos need to be shot differently to work properly on the vive?
What player you using to watch them?

Most of them were released for the SamsungGearVR or whatever that is but they've been pumping out quite a bit for Rift and Vive (Don't even know if there is a difference to all of them).

No clue, but what I heard was that most of them offer 1 or 2 videos free.
That being said: Enough porn trackers/sites to get your free versions. Just use the sites I posted in their search engine.

Job simulator and Space Pirate Trainer have been the most impressive for me so far.
Overall everything i have tried have impressed me quite a bit.
And the Whale encounter in theBlu is amazing. Thats the first thing im gonna demo to friends and family.
