Well, one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) Polish gaming sites (gry-online.pl) also stated that CDP Red did not state any fixed release date but said that it should happen before E3.

In the topic's thread on NeoGAF, Pawel Swierczynski, a lead developer on Wild Hunt came forward to respond with the following:
Quote: |
CDProjekt RED, company of 370 employees, a lot from around the world, many women (brilliant and talented) but also minorities: gay, transsexual (we might have been one of the few companies who had transsexual lead), all treated equally with only respect and support.
But we`re called sexist for showing a boob or panties. Really?
We always aimed to tell stories about people. And there are people with boobs and people with panties. Sometimes both. | |

I reinstalled it and bought the expansion pass to start fresh for Blood and Wine. Sadly, the game runs like shit on my AMD R9 390x, the fps fluctuation is so high that it's not playable and I disabled nvidia's features.

you are very likely overdoing the settings.
for a 390x at 1080p, try the following.
everything max, nvidia features all off except HBAO+, shadows and foliage distance one notch lower from max. that should get you constant 60 fps everywhere, possible mid 50's in heavily forested areas depending on your card's clocks. my OC'ed 970 does exactly that at 1920x1200.
Also note that you will need a decent CPU OC to alleviate AMD dx 11 cpu overhead issues in the cpu hungry novigrad.
the bolded part is key. those two settings will tank framerate in many of the game's scenarios, even though at undemanding areas it might seem like they aren't framerate killers. We had a benchmark on that in the gpu thread in the hardware section. only a massively OC'ed 980ti can reach 60 fps in every scenario with those two settings maxed.

It was the GoG Galaxy overlay, apparently there is a bug since the last update which causes performance issues.

This game doesn't like oc'd video cards i've noticed, so it might be a culprit. At 1080p everything maxed out you should get 60 fps all the time cuz i'm getting it as well with my r9 390 Playing at 4k tho, the visuals are excellent and the immersion is so big so i accept less fps atm Thill very doable tho.

if someone told me they are getting 10-15 fps more than myself with a slower GPU, i'd think my PC had issues. that's why I responded. So Nordrim doesn't keep scratching his head why his 390x isn't getting 60 fps at max settings.
for constant 60 fps at 1080p in witcher 3 maxxed you need a 980ti.
The rest of us peasants need to lower settings or deal with lower FPS. that's all.

Been playing heart of stone for the past few days. What an expansion.
Spoiler: | The Vlodomir/Geralt/Shani interplay is awesome. It's better than anything in the base game. Every single cutscene is like the drinking party with the witchers kaer morhen, but better in every way. |
The new enemies are a blast. they also seem to have fixed yrden. I didn't need a mod for it anymore. If the other expansion is bigger and of this kind of quality, it's going to be the best witcher content ever made easily.
igni still needs a nerf though. it is just too op once you go with a pure sign build.

Yeah its one of the best expansions (i can't really call it a DLC) in recent memory. Only gripe i had with it is that a certain part did drag on a bit for me, but its a minor thing.
Can't fucking wait for Blood and Wine.

+1..
And it certainly wasn't OP against some bosses\monsters in the expansion..
Basically if you can't set them on fire, you better hope you are good with your swords and stuff..or else..
Why is everyone so eager to scream nerf nerf on the internet? Why not " buff other stuff!"
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

yeah. the constant setting everyone and everything except maybe 2% of enemies in the whole game aflame is a bit too much. Even when they tell you it's not hurt by fire in a cutscene before the boss fight, you can set it aflame easily. The game is so easy on highest difficult with a sign build, that I don't need potions or oils at all. I just need to quen+igni against the majority of enemies. even the dlc mobs that are faster, once I get them aflame, i just keep the chain going keeping them stun locked the whole time.
I have 3 blue and 1 green mutagen, all but skill in signs.
the other combat scenario with a handful of enemies at most is yrden+ appropriate oil coated sword hits. those are by far the most fun and challenging in the game, but way too rare.
aard is too situational, useful against maybe or 2 enemies since igni is almost always better, and axii unreliable past the early game, as the AI is so bad it can't even hit enemies when you mind control it.
so yeah, imo, igni nerf, axii and aard need reworking/buffing.

Just completed heart of stone. saw both endings. I thought the short one to be a masterpiece and certainly felt more fitting, though the longer ending is quite good as well.
These guys just keep raising the bar. the whole expansion is just godlike. When you compare witcher 1 cutscenes and this expansion, you realize how much the studio has grown in their craft over the years.
