I have concerns where they are going with this bf1, I will say why.
In the original bf games when you changed map/zone play areas the whole kit changed, the aircraft the tools you had, we are so used today with the bf2 3 and 4 where we can have all the same mechanics at our disposal, tanks guns etc etc always there to use.
I personally was not a fan of the oh you have to change to a spitfire now etc etc because you are on this map type of stuff. This could make the game feel like many different games yet nice in a way also could be problematic with making people feel they dont have a complete across the board package.
Im not sure what to think.. It seems as if this is where they are going with it.

Exactly. WW1 is one of those settings which definitely weren't been overdone. Korean war could be another etc.

WW1 looks like WW2 to me. Some people think they didn't use horses in WW2 for some reason.
Both COD and BF made sure to add a woman and made sure to include races other than Caucasians. 2016 is real. The future is here. No transsexuals yet though, so we need to catch up with TV shows.

Yup, and it's even worse when you think at the layouts of said maps, and realize that most of them aren't designed to sustain 64 players to begin with. 
My ideal Battlefield game would have all the maps of the size of something like Bandar Desert, but the nextgen people prefer hectic fast-paced gameplay instead...Metro1917 Remake incoming. |

Guys...no way there could be more players if they are gonna sell some 120Hz servers with 64 players. Now imagine Xbox One at the current state while it is the main platform for this game. I hope that even 64 player games are not fucked up because of that 900p@30FPS #nextgen crap.

Even if there are 128 players in a game doesn't mean your gfx has to render all of them at once, only the players in your field of view or in the immediate vicinity, really. Sure, the server has to track all the action but fuck we're closing in on 2020, progress is so fucking slow at this point.
Then there's the typical downscale of texture quality for stuff happening in the background; streamed up in quality as it comes more into field of view.
