Isn't the game lacking on a feeling of progression though? I mean, in HOTS/LoL/Hearthstone I always feel like I'm getting something meaningful for each game. Here I already own all the heroes, so what's the point of playing?
For fun? Same with Dota or CSGO if you don't care about silly skins and other cosmetics, it's all unlocked for you to play from the get go. I personally find this much better than blocking it behind some progression treadmill, which I despise in any game like this. I even remember statpadding in BF3/BF4 so that I could have everything unlocked and finally start playing with whatever I wanted..
I know some people like that carrot-on-the-stick and it's fine. It's about time games started asking on first launch something like "Do you want everything unlocked or do you want to progress?"
@tolanri I'm with you on this. Played to level 6 last night, my first time trying the game at all. And I had a lot of fun with it, can definitely consider picking it up when it's out. Gonna play more over the weekend for sure.

I think these are the only two characters I havent played yet.
I really prefer fast and agile characters. Death dude (dont remember the name), Tracer, the black dude with dread and the chick with the armor, jetpack and rocket launcher are my favorite!
Is it safe to buy Blizzard games from other places? Wasn't there big ban wave for Diablo III and HotS packs to people who bought from unauthorized sources? And I also read G2A is kinda hit and miss (even with this weird Shield thing).

You serious? You play more to be better at the game, not to unlock super kewl stuff.
That kind of thinking largely played the role in destroying multiplayer games where instead of playing to be good, people play to unlock shiny weapons, heroes, attachments and other things to have an edge over other players.
I like this here a lot, it's far more closer to good old fps games where only skill and player's dedication played the role how good someone is.
The only two things i dislike about the game right now is Bastion (wtf blizzard?!) and map design. Not for a single map i can say "hey, i love this map! this is the best map for me until now!". And i've played quite a few hours. Maps are forgetful and that's not good

The only bad experiences i had here was that i was like solo in the team.. While the rest were like exploring the surroundings and doing NOTHING
Wish the game had Stats a la TF2 (Kills, deaths, etc)... Not "Here's YOUR ONLY stats for yourself. NO, we won't let you check on others"

@DV2
TBH i'm glad you can't see the stats of others till the map ends.
I'm one of those that often checks the scoreboard during a game to see how well i do compared to others. Now i can just focus on having a fun time and doing the objective.
You also get most exp for doing the objective and winning the game.
While i played the beta for many hours, my team did the objective most of the time.
That they often sucked at that is another thing.
kinda sad that play of the games prefer kill quantity over quality. I mean seeing Soldier 76/ Parrah/ Tjörblergh or Hanzo´s ult in potg makes me cry everytime.
It is always the kill count. And I don't think the game can just say what kill is more "pro" than another and even if it can it will be clusterfucked.
Sometimes the next kill doesn't "fit" in the duration of the short video highlight but it's always shown down on the screen with the message "X killed Y".
And which additional fees on cdkeys.com? At least with creditcard i got none.
Instant Gaming is the crap site for me, where i have to pay two different kind of fees. That's why i never buy from them.
i don't recall them saying new heroes will be free, they only said they wont charge for the maps and about the when ,how many ,and what bussines model will the new heroes have they dodge the question(or at least that's what they did on their latest interview).
Correct me if i'm wrong (hope i am )
I assume that blizzard will keep up with this since its one of their (developers?) that said it.
This is from December, 2015. In some recent interview they said they don't know yet if they will even release new heroes and even if they do they are not sure if in payable DLC or free or something else. I can't really remember where I read this but it's truth.
My guess is they will try with payable and if it doen't work, they will try something else. But knowing how much Blizzard prices things, they will be expensive in some way (and if every new hero has 54 unlockables too).
