It was... well, what you can expect, I suppose To be honest, it feels pretty much liek a last year finale rehash, down to team breaking up at the end. Except instead of a local threat we got a real end of the world type of a deal on a CW budget.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
I was always a fan of Vigilante back in the 1980's so I hope they end up giving him a costume similar to that version for Adrian Chase. I even have a figure of him that was released a few years back because it was just so surprising that DC released one for a somewhat obscure character.
Oh, so they really were planning to have that Black Canary copycat girl to return as some people suggested last season.

Good episode with the occasional cheesy line and acting. Better than a hell of a lot of episodes in the last couple of seasons. Some okay to good fights and some of them were brutal actually, lots of in camera gunshots and snapping necks.
Surprisingly good start for the new season!
