With all this denuvo shit, how I test a game now? I used piracy for that. So, now I must buy a game without first trying it with my hardware?

Wait or Steam account sharing. If you are not sure about performance, do not buy.

Wow, i gotta say. The graphics are crazy, gameplay super good so far, i'm just amazed.

Running ultra + 8 x txaa (i thought it would be demanding as hell but so far so good) @ ultrawide 60 fps locked.

Can't enable nightmare settings i guess because of vram but even so holy shitfuck. Was worth every penny.

dafuq did I just read?

also 4treyu what russ80 wanted to say I think is the higher difficulty throws more enemies at you, so more particles and more stuff on screen, might actually be correct on the vram thing.

edit: wait what russ80 responded himself is not even connected to your question and im defending him in wait.... what? I think im having a stroke, wtf?

It's tssaa, I wonder how exactly it works. I only notice a 1-2 fps difference between it and smaa. The only quality difference I can tell is it's blurrier than smaa.

Btw there's a new Nvidia driver which seems to have improved performance even more. I started a new game, and a couple areas that used to drop me below 60 on high are now a solid 60 on ultra.

Yeah, 365.19 really improved my experience a great deal. It's far from what I'd call "perfect" but I spend more time at 1080p60/High than I did at 1080p45/low compared to 365.10, that's for sure.

The refund process on Steam is automated, if you played less than 2h.

Try starting with this parameter: +menu_advanced_AllowAllSettings 1

Some other parameters:
Skip intros: +com_skipIntroVideo 1
Deactivate Mouse smoothing: +set m_smooth 0
Automatically press key during loading screen: +com_skipKeyPressOnLoadScreens 1

Don't. If you've got an nV card, it's truly excellent, forget everything you saw during MP beta.. this is mighty fine.

I've no idea, I've ignored MP completely. It's like Leo said earlier, it feels like a different team did MP to SP. It's not Doom in MP, it's Halo with Demons. SP is Doom, IMO.

I meant refunds. I know EU has strict refund rules, which some stores follow, but only for EU customers. The only refund I've seen and performed on Steam was a preorder, and that one surprised me also.

I'm in desperate need of a good shooter. How does sharing work remotely?

It's basically like this:
- Make sure Family Sharing is enabled on the host, and the client Steam accounts.
- The one who wants to share his games, needs to log into Steam on the PC of the one who wants the game (For example with the help of Teamviewer, if you don't want to give your password away)
- After logging in, the host goes into Settings/Family Share and authorizes that PC. (Steamguard must be activated!)
- If that is done, the host can logout again.
- Now if the client wants to play, the host must not currently play anything. If that is okay, then the client just starts the game and goes offline after the game is running. But simply going offline in Steam is not working anymore. Instead you can for example pull your LAN-cable or deactivate your internet adapter in Windows.

@LeoNatan
The refund system should work for every country:

Halo is still a lot slower though.

But MP looks retarded. And the map build is also retarded. The most simplified maps ever by "modders".
