Fuck, the weapons are weird in multiplayer. The gatling seems to have some sort of aim support...

Guess I got lucky or they fixed something since I bought it (Running an AMD card) but I'm running near Ultra (I never use AA on anything since I find it useless) and getting like 60-100 FPS depending on where I'm at. Raaarrrely drops below 60.
Sapphire 290x 1100/1375
i7 4790K 4.5Ghz
16GB memory

Turned up the difficulty as high as I could and am having a blast. This is Doom, not that bullshit that was Doom 3.
I want a new Quake now

Bought the game and it is as I feared. The shitty gore kills and opening boxes/doors etc is extremely annoying.
Why would you take control away from the player every few seconds?
All these little cutscenes getting in the way of my gameplay.
Playing on ultra, graphics are ok but nothing special. Sometimes textures fail to load on time which looks horrible.
Will probably entertain me for a few more hours but definitely not worth €60

Why didnt u buy it for 28 almost no game is worth 60.
Anyone have some tips on what I can do with the screen tearing when I turn off vsync because of the horrible input lag. Feels like I am playing on a butter mouse pad with it on. I lock the fps on 60 but the tearing is horrible.

So..vulkan was available for 1080 marketing campaign but not for release?
I wonder why.. 
We all know why...same reason AMD's performance was good in beta.. same reason AMD used 4.5 opengl in beta, not in release..
One day Huang will pay for his crimes against gamers, fair competition and progress.

I love how people are pointing fingers at AMD when it's ID's typical bullshit engine and not testing anything lol.
Name one game in the past decade ID released that actually fucking worked how it was supposed to.

I miss the days when games were 50 bucks, ever since Activision started the whole "huuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrr our copy pasted games are worth 60" and others followed suite, I no longer support buying games directly. I buy everything on G2play now usually 20 bucks off retail price.

I'm still a little confused about AMD not officially being 4.5 conformant. Testing the cards with Extension Viewers says they fully support it. What's missing?
Their Linux support remains shit, that much is very true. But they've done quite a bit of progress on Windows. I'd like to see a more recent analysis of their OpenGL drivers on Windows, 2013/14 is a bit old.
I mean, AMD drivers in 2012 where shit even in Directx.

There's a story. The way the SP plays is like Doom 1 or 2 but with the occasional story element.
